1986 vintage with Andy and Jackson. What an absolute treat. Very tight at first. Allowed to rest for two hours and then the beauty showed herself. — 8 years ago
Still tight. Need to open ahead or decant. Aromas of cedar and graphite. Strong red fruit. Delicious with good finish. — 9 years ago
Must remember to open Tigs and let it breathe a long time. Tight with a lot of earth then starts to bloom and because wonderfully complex. — 10 years ago
A little tight but showing good structure and promising longevity. Needs time. 2010 vintage — 10 years ago
Daddy like, young tight and free welding it's fruits. Young wild and free! She's a winner, All Beatles Honey Pie — 10 years ago

Showing age very well. Not a young tight lemon bomb by any means. — 11 years ago
V14. Beautiful leather and cedar nose. Rich plum, currant and spice fruit. Smooth, tight leather finish.

Lovely Mouton still young and needs time to open up. Deep dark red, this iconic Bordeaux blend is rich elegant and tempting. Aromas of black current, chocolate, coffee, and spicy wood, all blend into a full bodied elegant rich wine, with lovely robust round tannins, splendid with layers of fruit and taste. Long chewy rich finish that stays with you almost 30 min after you finish your glass. The wine was still tight and needed time to open up, through a bit of sediments. My score 91, drink to 2024 — 9 years ago
Young Bonneau du Martray; just linear, oak though a big presence is layered, nose awfully restrained and fruit basically hidden until it evolves some more; try in a decade maybe two; so slight but so tight; acid tucked behind the wood too; an evolution to happen; great Corton; an even better site when I drove past this vineyard in May this year; #drinkFrance #drinkburgundy #côtedor #cortoncharlemagne #corton #bonneaudumartray #grandcru #domaine #2009 #uncorkedandcultivated #wineandfoodtours #France2016 — 10 years ago
1995 vintage. 60% Pinot and 40% Chardonnay. Very fresh, tight nose. Medium lemon. Mineral, iron and metallic nose. Ripe lemon, no oxygenation (no MLF as usual). On the palate, very balanced and lean. No richness and fine bubbles. Clean finish. Quite long. Very elegant. Not quite at the level of 2002, but lovely nonetheless. NB: with air, some morel and white truffle notes. — 10 years ago
Wow. A powerhouse that was sadly opened too young. Offensively tight but incredibly complex. -2006 — 10 years ago
Way too young, a bit tight & austere and one dimensional. Needs a lot of more time in the cellar (10-15 years) to really open up. — 11 years ago
Nichole really enjoyed this one! — 7 years ago
Started with very subtle fruit and tight tannins surprisingly. After 30 minutes in the decanter the fruit was booming, the tanins settled and it was drinking perfect. Having with a dry aged porterhouse. Yes, burgundy with steak, it’s a thing. — 7 years ago
It was too young and overall very tight even with 5 hours of decanting. I think we opened this at an awkward time in its evolution. — 9 years ago
Tight and needs time. A bit hot — 9 years ago
A little tight but beautiful, restrained tannins and nicely unified from top to bottom. Not a ton of depth, austere but not astringent as are many Barolos, especially at this age. Extremely pleasurable and dignified. One of my favorite Barolos. — 10 years ago
Tight with graphite, fruit, wood. High quality, but not a great value. 💸 — 10 years ago

Immaculate. Cigar box, blueberry, kiss of acid and a helping of, still tight, tannins. Stunning. — 10 years ago
Better than the last bottle which was excellent. This one was amazing with fragrant sweet red fruit notes and a tight core. It won't last until tomorrow but would likely be better tomorrow. — 12 years ago

Nice nose after a couple hours, but super, super tight finish that never comes around. Seems like quality is buried in there however. Waiting 10 years for next bottle. Not worth the risk at this point — 7 years ago
