Love this beer, Stone's Famous lank mark strong ale "Basartd" 17 Adversary, combines all three "Basartd's to make the best of all, big fresh hops, because it is only released fresh once a year, big west coast style, leans more to a double IPA, but rich Carmel malt backbone, just awesome brew, nails the best of all three — 11 years ago

Nose is all big, jammy fruit. Strawberry preserves, blackberries, and cherries. Palate is in three stages, initial shot of red berries, transitions in to a bright, slightly more tart cherry with just a little dark chocolate and coffee, then a beautiful, sweet grain, molasses, and buckwheat honey finish that goes on and on.
