Really good---nice surprise!!! — 9 years ago
Third Vintage of this #cabernetsaugvinon #wine I've had and the consistency is again spot on. Tasted almost five hours after opened and still tight.
Closed aromas leaning towards cassis and blackberries. Fine, focused and extremely pure texture. Smooth finish with espresso and bitter cocoa. Definitely early, this wine will age for awhile. Lives up to top tier Rutherford quality.

Great nose of bay leaf and mint leaf. Heavily textured palate, great fruit, bit funky but leaves an impression — 11 years ago
Pleasantly surprised considering how light it is. Nice fruit and slight spiced aromas, smooth mouthfeel and elegant finish. Lives up to its name, very graceful. — 11 years ago
Powerful!!! Great pairing with Beef Tenderloin. Lives up to it's name with a deep purple color. Spice, pepper, dark fruit, olives, chocolate, and espresso. #delicious #yegwine — 12 years ago

Wow. This lives up to its reputation. I had my doubts about all the new oak, but this is almost as if the oak is gently taming the wild, bombastic, flinty, minerally, herbaceous SB within. The finish goes on forever and I honestly didn't want it to stop. — 9 years ago
Great gumdrops! I really like this wine. Ripe fruit Flavors with elegant structure. A legendary wine that actually lives up to its renowned reputation. — 9 years ago
Superb. Huge body, wonderful berries and a hint of tobacco on the nose. Rich, full flavor with big fruit and wonderful weight. Nice balance. A friend got this on close out for $3.99 a bottle so grab it if you can find it!! — 9 years ago

Second time within the space of a week! Decanted for 2.5 hours the wine initially a bit funky blows off and lives up to its glorious reputation. Next time will try a slightly shorter decant — 8 years ago

Always a right-bank favorite of mine.. first time trying the '12. A touch leaner than previous vintages, but same overripe, richly textured palate I love. Mocha, oak, and blackberry dominate the palate while it lives up to every other '12 bordeaux with seamless tannins that are as smooth as ever. A whif of smoke and charcoal linger in the background.. A great drink for the money. — 9 years ago
Plum black cherry caramel cookie dough on the palate dry dry cherries and leather. One lives for this wine. Definitely can age. #vegasicilia #valbuena — 10 years ago
Open for 5 days. Other than maybe a little lactic character, no trace of oxidation. Very soft, generous, embraces my palate lovingly. Lots of layers and detail, good fruit but also savory. De stemmed, SO2 only at bottling. 75% Pinot iirc. — 10 years ago
Definitely lives up to the name! Getting a few more bottles to keep on hand. — 10 years ago
Sweet fruity refreshing taste. Plus the labels are hysterical — 11 years ago
An elegant and powerful wine made even better poured out of a magnum. Blackberry, cassis, graphite, cedar and cocoa with a taste of that Oakville dust in the finish. Overpriced but lives up to the hype. — 12 years ago

I’m usually a fan of dry reds, but bring on the wets baby! Just a delightful fruit-forward expression of cab sav. Just when you think you have a handle on the heavy vanilla aftertaste a strong gust of butterscotch takes over your taste buds. It’s a beautiful cab that lives up to the Caymus reputation. 10/10 would slam another glass again. — 7 years ago
