Just when you think you have a handle on the heavy vanilla aftertaste a strong gust of butterscotch takes over your taste buds. Third Vintage of this #cabernetsaugvinon #wine I've had and the consistency is again spot on. Tasted almost five hours after opened and still tight.

Closed aromas leaning towards cassis and blackberries. Fine, focused and extremely pure texture. Smooth finish with espresso and bitter cocoa. Definitely early, this wine will age for awhile. Lives up to top tier Rutherford quality.
