1998 vintage has held up really well! With my buddy Gibby and wife. Let it decant over several hours and it opened up beautifully. Cedar, leather and mineral on the nose. Long finish with full body. Wish I has 10 moe bottles. — 11 years ago
My wife bought this to celebrate the new year. it is young and fruit forward but is well balanced, with lots of flavors, big vanilla, and spice. This wine has a nice mouth feel, heavy toast, which would pair great with red meat or barbecue! — 11 years ago

Makes me want to give up trying and sampling other reds from around the planet. Red as it should be . A benchmark wine of energy and grace. From skin to core, layered with French expression. Worth it's dollar value as every expensive wine should be but often isn't. We're it not for my wife with me, this would have been the real beauty in the room. — 10 years ago
It definitely needs to breathe a but but its good. Fruity without being too sweet. I drank it after a long work week and frankly it did the trick! Worth a try and a good wine to bring to a party of non/wine drinkers alike. — 11 years ago
Wife cooks a special dinner - gotta have a special wine. Going with old reliable favorite. Rich but not "heavy". Nice berry finish. — 11 years ago
I love my wife. — 11 years ago
Brightly bitter, with a long yeasty, wheaty finish. Yum! — 10 years ago
Un peu trop tôt pour ce 2013 mais j'en ai quelques unes encore et voilait comparer l'évolution. Très bien équilibré, soyeux, beaucoup aimé — 10 years ago
Had three bottles at dinner tonight with a group of friends. First bottle good, but tannic, perfumed, spicy. Second bottle has the same backbone but lots of dark fruits. Third bottle was near perfect blend of the first two. Had with Chateaubriand. — 10 years ago
Plum and currant. Very Cabernet Sauvignon as expected. I bought this from a left overs bin for about $30 without looking to see what I purchased. Had I looked before opening I might have waited a few years. I had a problem with the cork which was dry and brittle at the top third but ultimately came out clean. — 11 years ago
Fruit forward, small refreshing bubbles, and a bit of bread dough character! Would go with any food! — 11 years ago
Even though it was the third bottle it was still a standout wine — 12 years ago
