A definite deep in the woods kind of wine. Savoury and elegant, soft tannins for a Nebbiolo. 2010 Reserve. Beautiful. — 11 years ago
Deep amber color. Aromas of birch bark, vanilla, old linens, and mahogany. It smells like autumn leaves in the deep woods after rain, and it tastes like wood, too—birch and pecan, walnut, sarsaparilla. There's roundness at the front and sharpness at the back, and the finish is bitter nut. Pour straight over ice or add tonic and a splash of white port. 16% abv | $28 (New Hampshire) — 12 years ago

Lingonberries, strawberries, leather and wooden tones. Impressive clarity of flavour. Like an autumn day in the woods bottled for my enjoyment. — 10 years ago
Bottle said Red Table Wine, not sure if the Delectable is correct. Nice warm red, wonderful flavor and nice smooth finish — 10 years ago
Wow, what a cracking wine! This is the complete package just brimming with lovely, soft, beguiling Cabernet aromas of cassis, leather and leaf. What struck me was the beautiful licorice and fine dark chocolate. Beautiful, structured yet immensely enjoyable even now :) — 10 years ago

The Reserve 2013 of this wine won the James HallidayChardonnay challenge. This was more stone fruit, peach etc than grapefruit and citrus. An excellent chard for the money. — 10 years ago
