Well integrated oak, medium bodied Chardonnay.. really enjoyed it (although I won't deny being influenced by my love of the band 😊) — 9 years ago
Chateau Latour is my favorite 1st Growth, they demand patience and inspire not just hedonistic pleasure but also analytical thought.
Both amazing but need massive amounts of air or another 15-20 years minimum in the cellar. I get the feeling they both will hit a plateau once they blossom and slowly move towards full maturity for decades.
The nose on the 2005 rose with little agitation and shot from the hip to nose with ease. By far the most youthful and I tense nose of the evening.
The 2000 was not dissimilar in its progression, if a bit more refined from the extra few years in the glass. A cerebral wine that was also deeply pleasurable, it kept bringing me to what this wine will be like in 15-20 or more years. Easily a 50 years wine from a macro view.

Fucking delicious. Rose hip, dried strawberry, grapefruit, watermelon, tangerine and dirt. — 10 years ago
Hip hip Rosé hip hip Rosé. My all time fav is even better this year it's perfectly effervescent with notes of watermelon candied cherries and fresh juicy strawberries. Summer water is here — 10 years ago
Definately one of the better roses; aromas and flavors of tart red berries (rose hip) with a very pronounced minerality from the flinty soils. Great acidity, medium weight. — 10 years ago
"Hip Hop Eponymous"
full bodied, inky, lingering fine grained tannins. Smokey, dark fruit, lavender. craves grilled meat drippings. — 11 years ago
One of the best Poulsards. This has beautiful texture, offers a lot of flavor, interesting aromas of rose hip, cranberry and pomegranate. Well structured and balanced out with great acidity. — 11 years ago
Blackberries, rose hip tea & bees wax ice cream; 'The Taste of Naked Trees', Dark Beer, Prunes, Beech cream. — 11 years ago
14 months maturation
Great wet, bloody nose but with a smokey, mineral, graphite core along with tight rose hip and black cherry that developed in the glass to show more wet tobacco leaf notes. Palate is well strung with taught tannin backing up taught, structured black currant and cherry fruit powerful but light bodied thanks to the acid. Snappy with some lovely red berry fruits on the finish. — 11 years ago
For the price, splendid. With some air (30 minutes recommended) the very rich flavors of tobacco, leather, dried cherries and rose hip comes through. Nice body, nice acidity, nice everything. — 8 years ago
Bought at a cool little combination vintage clothing shop/natural wine store in Tallinn. Super hip, I know; sue me. Natural Loire Valley (this is VdF but I'm pretty sure this producer is located in Touraine and I'm guessing the grapes are at least mostly sourced from there as well) rosé bubbles consisting of a blend of Grolleau and Cab Franc. Semi-sparkling/frizzante. Unfiltered, a quite small amount of sediment is visible floating in the bottle. Not sure whether or not this qualifies as a pet-nat since the production method isn't totally clear from bottle info but it fits the character of one regardless of production method. A bit funky but delightfully so and its not over the top at all. Slightly unripe wild raspberry and strawberry, some funky yeastiness that's almost lager-esque (also pours like a beer as well in terms of bubble texture/level of carbonation), a tiny bit of heavy cream, and wet granite and quartz stones, not unlike the stone of the beach of the island we just left (Hitis in the Finnish archipelago) where we spent a few days at my favorite place on earth, my family's shared summer cabin. Overall, somewhat like a sour beer in overall character, in a really cool way. Med. (+) acidity keeps it juicy and fresh. Super yummy. Great pizza wine. — 9 years ago
A whisper of apple and mint, with a clean, awesome dry finish. Tasty as an aperitif. Would be sick in a hip cocktail. — 10 years ago
Magnum. Company party. Cherries and concentrated mineral water. The pork ramen and this wine are making hip hop beats together. Prolific. I hope you haven't missed it...as soon as you open a bottle you better stay close to it, especially in good company. This is benchmark bomb diggz. — 11 years ago
Bought this as soon as it became hip, drank it all in 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tastes like expensive bourbon should taste! — 11 years ago

LOVE. Floral hip-hop diva- the description fits this well. It is crisp flavorful and bubbly. Delightful. — 9 years ago
Time and place have a huge effect on one's wine tasting experience. Cracking this bottle and drinking it while watching the Hip's Kingston concert (8-20-16), I felt like I was properly toasting a band that has meant a lot to me and so many other fans. For that, I'm giving this wine the biggest rating. — 9 years ago

Hip hop rosé! Sadly, the last bottle of it in my collection. — 11 years ago
