my favorite vintage [2012] of this southern Oregon Bordeaux-style blend, after the '09. drinking very nicely now with medium-plus in power, good dark fruit, and balanced oak. Dark purple, clear, medium+ staining on the eye. Vanilla, sweet, caramelized red fruits and blackberries on the nose. Medium+ dryness, medium tannins, medium+ alcohol. Enjoyed this Sarah, but thought oak was a little too forward. Still a great value and wine. — 8 years ago
