You know when your wine nigjt starts with this things can only lead to wrestling. Not like WWF but more like first round with a panther but then in line are a moose, polar bear and a rhino. Progressive matches power wise but neither of you are trying to beat the other. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah, amazing syrah. Find it and leave your notes and ill tell you if I agree. Worked 70 hours this week and this is a hell of a Pinot Noir on which to rest my laurels. In reading the reviews, I noticed Derek Hearst thought it suffered from heavy acid, clearly he forgot to properly prepare the wine as a real sommelier would do. Let the wine open up: fruity, dark berries, noticeable absence of tart, medium acidity, tannins - not over the top, rather the mouthfeel continues to remind you of the beautiful Willamette grapes you're currently enjoying. Pair with Black Rhino horn, Minecraft, and dead babies. — 10 years ago
