Central Otago is supposed to be of the great pinot regions of the world. Lovely, "punchy and fresh". Bright acidity, characteristic of New Zealand — 11 years ago
Drinking better the second day. This has a dusty nose of iron dry earth- the iron giving a slight metallic nose. I also get smoke, dark berries and leather that lays over some herbal notes. This is what I live in a wine and Cahors is one of my favorite regions. — 11 years ago
This is a dynamo of a wine that transports you across multiple regions. Is this a Burgundy, a Bordeaux or is it Italian from the Piedmont region? Its uniqueness is unmatched and yet it is from one of he most endangered wine regions in the world. Let's save this classic? — 11 years ago
Really nice representation of the value and quality of Portugal's Douro blends. Soft with being cloying and a good balance of acidity and deeper fruit like blackberry make it a good pairing with steak and hearty soup. The more Douro I drink the more my bucket list trip to Spain will include a side trip to Portugal's wine regions. — 11 years ago
Very interesting! Like and Pinot like. Very fruity and Beaujolais like with a slight popcorn finish. Very obscure grape from one of my favorite regions. Nice pickup. I'll have to get more and implement this to the summer rotation for a light red option for warm weather. — 12 years ago
A seriously fun wine or fun serious wine? 4 great winemakers 4 great regions 4 grapes.
I have tasted this on all levels of wine drinkers and EVERYONE has loved it.
More than just a field blend. This has thought and purpose going on behind it.
Quality > price > great deal.
I rarely buy wine but will definitely be getting some of this. I was going to say for the cellar but this isn't a cellaring wine not for more than a year or three. — 11 years ago
Smooth and silky, amazing wine from one of portugal's best regions — 11 years ago
Dry fruity flavor with a mild finish, a blend of Pinot grapes from 3 regions — 12 years ago
My go-to wine of the year in southern Rhone region. Contrary to other regions you can always taste and smell a rhone wine from Cairanne, just north of Gigondas. — 12 years ago
