Awesome recommendation from our local wine guy. Hadn't heard of if before, apparently it's a newer project from Kirk Venge. It's the Chardonnay but Delectable doesn't seem to have it in their database. Complex nose and palate of flowers, minerals, slate, apricots, mint, brown butter, blah blah blah. Basically, too many to list, but I like how it tastes a little different each time. Really nice acid and viscosity. Sure to age well. — 9 years ago

Makes the best pork chops!! Great wine tasting experience. — 10 years ago
Roost. Pork Shank. Very good — 11 years ago
I hesitate to call a wine feisty or exuberant but... This one is. It's not overpowering but is a big wine with big Zinfandel flavours. I'm not entirely sure how this differs from pervious raven's I've had and frankly, I was on my second bottle, which leaves a muted palate... Nonetheless most enjoyable.

Jammy, dry - what one expects in Merlot. — 10 years ago
Splendidly spiced and peppery. Grenache ruling the roost. Lavender, Rosemary, juicy red fruit, spiced plum, lightly minty. Very good. Soft, but sweet red fruit, earthy, spiced and pungent spiced. Splendid stuff — 10 years ago
Thick sweet with a surprising pepper immediate burst. Had it with sea salt chocolate. — 12 years ago
Fruity and crisp. — 12 years ago

Slightly dusty corky note which hung around longer than it should have. Also on the nose Herbs and Mint rule the roost with berry fruit in the background. Cabernet makes its presence felt in this Cab Shiraz blend with its structure and a touch of austerity. Restrained fruit and an elegant style still with a good future. — 8 years ago
