Joseph Phelps Insignia 2008: Bold. Rich. Stunning. Velvety black fruits. Mocha. Eucalyptus. Leather. Consisting of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot & 4% Merlot, this was the perfect 1.5L of pure liquid greatness. What better way to celebrate two milestone events but with this extremely special bottle. Simply the finest Napa Valley Bordeaux-style blend ever! Happy Birthday mom & Happy belated 50th Anniversary! Love whisper my angel. Perfect dry rose for salads & fish. Would recommend to anyone looking for rose that's not sweet and dry on the tongue — 9 years ago

A 2012 blend consisting of 70% Zinfandel, 21% petite Sarah, 6% Carignane and 3% Mourvèdre. A rich deep ruby red color, 14.4% alcohol, dry, mind tannin that will smooth out after a few years of collecting. Paired with meatballs and it was a perfect compliment. — 11 years ago
If it wasn't perfect then I couldn't tell — 11 years ago

Tasted blind. Tawny color, translucent with amber rims. Notes of black cherry, cedar, some spice and a little barnyard floor. Sweet fruit in the mouth, with tannins fully resolved. Guessed 1955 Calon Segur. Perfect looking bottle, the cork revealed this bottle was reconditioned by the Chateau in 2000. — 7 years ago
One of our favorite Rosés. Now that the 15 has settled in the bottle for year, time to enjoy. It's simply just better a year down the road. On the nose, bright, lean fruits of; strawberries, cherries, tangerine, watermelon. Sea spray, limestone & fresh pink florals. On the palate, the body had a presence of gluey. Fresh, bright, lean fruits of; strawberries, cherries, tangerine. Watermelon, grainy minerals, limestone, perfect level of chalkiness (big but not overpowering the fruit), saline, pink flowers, beautiful, round, soft acidity and a round polish finish 50-50 fruit and earth. Photos of our trip there in April 2016. Estate vines, large oak vat cellar and road signage. Added, are those beautiful Mourvedre grapes being harvested. — 9 years ago
One of the best red i've had, well balanced with perfect complexity — 10 years ago
My favorite Sauvignon blanc - very fruity (citrus, tropical) without being overly sweet, which is perfect. Not as herbaceous/mineraly as Loire SBs. The 2014 vintage isn't as good, unfortunately.

Slightly bubbly on opening. Moderate sweetness, rich tropical fruit flavors. Perfect with spicy Asian stir fry. — 11 years ago
Haven’t had this top of class of 2000 in awhile. It so outperforms most of that vintage. Tannins are perfect. Lush red fruit that lingers forever. Spent a little time tending the vineyard and decided to treat myself. WOW!!! Only two bottles left. Boo🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 5 years ago
Almost perfect. — 7 years ago
Perfect with antipasto — 9 years ago
Tasted 2005 - photo is of different tasting. Tasting notes 2005: Absolutely to die for. Perfect tannic structure, ripe and round
Could age 20 more years but still wonderful
North of medoc and you'd expect deep and dark, but actually the most feminine and elegant and beautiful of poulliac wines
Black currants
Balanced finish
Not overpowering at all — 9 years ago
1989 vintage. A near perfect bottle with loads of ripe dark fruit flavors and classic Rutherford dust additions. Sweet tannins still providing structure and grip, and it's American oak treatment nicely integrated. Long, satisfying finish, where fruit, acidity and minerality comes in waves. Very, very impressive and behaving 10 years younger than it actually is. — 10 years ago

Smelled great looked great tasted great but it was thin on the palate for a Howell mountain cab. Everything else was in perfect harmony. — 10 years ago
