Barbera & Bonarda blend from an Emilia Romagno maker. I love this style- gave a good 45+ min decant. Imagine the Bonarda offsets the Barbera fruitiness. Keeps a taut line btw vegetal acidity & that earthy fruitiness. Natural maker of some serious orange wines. 13% alcohol. Didn’t hurt that we drank at sunset, on the Hudson River at home. — 5 years ago
The tablest of table wines. Natural, fun. — 5 years ago
More natural and darker than the first bottle. Still quite good. — 7 years ago
The Syrah in the blend adds some earthy, gamey, leather and spice notes to the aroma, an expression very reminiscent of the St. Joseph wines of northern Rhone. Medium to heavy body mouth feel and packed with dark cherry flavors and even some notes of haricot vert and mint. Medium long finish with the tannins balancing well with the coffee and red fruit after taste. A very polished style. — 7 years ago

Best natural wine. If u like funky wine this is one to try. This is 100% Sav blanc but doesn't taste like a Sav blanc. On nose star fruit and passion fruit. On palate green apple and some passion fruit with some kiwi. — 7 years ago
This is funk on funk on funk. I thought it was a fantastic bottle. Not a light Gamay by any stretch of the imagination. On the nose this reeks of hay and barnyard with a wet stone note. Fantastic tart red fruit on the pallet with a wonderful lingering finish. if you are not into funky natural wines this may not be the bottle for you. But given the style of the producer I felt this fell fantastically into the style of wine that Souhaut makes. — 4 years ago
Good quality Riesling pet-Nat but not for me. — 5 years ago
This is a natural wine I love. An OG natural wine from a very talented winemaker. A baby orange with the right amount of skin contact which complements the finished wine and doesn’t become the focus. I wouldn’t call this an orange wine. It’s a white wine enhanced with slight oxidation. Flavors of lemon custard and fermented apple cider. Splendid. — 6 years ago

Juicy cherry soda and prickly. Med bodied with med+ acidity. I can't believe this is from Australia. Loving the freshness. It's made in a very natural style. — 7 years ago
This comes from a site planted en fou, biodynamicaly cultivated and made sans soufre. Yes indeed- it has hit all of the current trends and might predict a future one... and it is still good. I love it when a good bottle challenges my prejudices! A little bit of smoke and a whole lot of stone fruit make this quite tasty. — 7 years ago
