This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 7 months ago

Deep ruby red , light bodied , medium tannins , cherry & plum off the nose , strong , — 2 years ago
Beautiful bottle. Starts of simple enough with some currant but on the tongue the ripeness gives way to some light spice and calming finish. Very well balanced. Deceivingly so. — 5 years ago
The best rosé, great balance and acidity (via Urban Grape) — 5 years ago
Balanced but fruit is front and center through to the finish with a soft velvety tongue. The bourbon barrels come through with a deliciously harmonious, and unique surprise. — 7 years ago
Drinking the 2010 in 2017. Rudy color. Thin legs that quickly dissipate. Bouquet of plum and raspberry, with cherry notes. Flavor is light for a Napa cab, very smooth and slightly sweet with very light tannins. — 9 years ago
Young nose on fruit aromas with spices, oak, but all well integrated. On the palate it is also pretty young, balanced and air did improved the wine, especially to make disappear the dry finish and heat the finish showed at first. Then, so beautiful with fruit flavors, spices, tobacco and just a hint of cedar wood. Excellent (92)
Tasted at a dinner with wine “buddies”
Blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. Was aged in 100% new French oak. Alcohol level of 13,5% — 11 years ago
From 3litre. In great shape continued to blossom over length of hours. I was impressed by the condition and taste. How many times do these turn out to be crap? I say 1 in 20 from my experience are great — 11 years ago
Dark in color. Super fruity on the nose. Blackberry and plumb notes. Peppery, leathery, earthy finish. — 4 months ago
Balanced velvety, dark fruits blackberry and cherry. A bit of earthy spice on the base. Very good. — 7 months ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits, spice, oak and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with toasty vanilla oak, pepper and cacao wrapped in lively acidity. Fine tannins, medium+ finish, good structure ending with fruit, cedar, spice and earthy tones. Good value! — 8 months ago

This was a wonderful wine with our last-of-summer BBQ dinner. After 15 years in the bottle, it's very well balanced. — 12 years ago
Classic Bordeaux blend. 76% Cab Sauv/18% Merlot/4% Malbec/1% Cabernet Franc/1% Petit Verdot. Silty and red fruit on the nose. Raspberry, leather, smoky notes. — 4 months ago
A Burgundian-styled Cab Sauv from the one of the most compelling Sub AVA of Napa mountains (Mayacamas) which has an amazing soil and solid influence from the Pacific. Crafted with an amazing balance of 68% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot, 5% and the rest to round it off its structure and age ability. The 2011 is still climbing to its peak. Enticing notes of dry red fruits on the nose and mouth, delicate, outstandingly silky and nearly perfect balance!
The finish shows its beauty. (if you find it, it won’t disappoint you) it will give the run for the money. — 8 months ago
Pop and pour yesterday. Notes from day 2 open. On the nose: soft smoke and chalk, apple, lemon, a hint of reduction...lovely nose. On the palate: chalk, sour apple, lemon, loads of wet stone...fantastic acidity and good density...maybe my favorite incarnation of this wine so far... — 4 years ago
Pleasant aroma, fruity on the tongue with a dry finish. — 5 years ago
Bolder than expected, berries and just the slightest wood. 2012 — 8 years ago
