Rad Red - RAD!!! Hanover Red - WOW!! Colonial Red - More please! Awesome wine & great pourer! — 12 years ago
Really beautifully constructed wine. Even at 10 years old it's a dense garnet red with a Massive nose that overflows with sweet ripe black fruit. On the palate it's beautifully balanced with a hint of pepper but smooth and very long lived. I loved it. — 9 years ago
Full of flavor - only 3.5% ABV which makes this the king of session beers. The entire lid of the can pulls back so that you can enjoy the aromas - I've never seen this kind of packaging before, would be perfect for canned wine (eg Infinite Monkey Theorem) — 10 years ago
Bananas! Tastes colonial in the best way. Wet bamboo and sandalwood. — 10 years ago

Veterans Day dinner at Grand Colonial. Half price bottles on Wednesday. Amazing wine — 10 years ago
At first sip, it brought me back to colonial times. Sitting around a hearth with the founders of our great nation. Smokey, not too sweet, and well balanced. Also, Benjamin Franklin. — 10 years ago
After almost 20 days, hidded in the fridge, ir was still good! — 10 years ago
I had this wine at the Grand Colonial and it was EXCELLENT! — 11 years ago
They say this is their traditional Virginia colonial-era cider. I can't vouch for its historicity, but I can vouch for it being delicious, dry, and high-acid. Reminiscent of Lambic and Sekt. — 12 years ago
Dinner at Le Colonial in SF tonight. @JancisRobinson, look what we found! Delicious w/ Vietnamese food. Minerals, fresh peaches, floral perfume. And yes, underpriced. — 12 years ago
