At least 15 years of age on this VSOP from a family-owned producer. 40% abv. Very fragrant scotch-like vanilla oak and dried fruit. Complex and spicy finish. Goes well with dates and salted almonds as a digestif. Sipping it neat by a Christmas tree, but it also really wakes up with an ice cube🎄 Not Henny! 🙌 — 6 years ago
Excellent. More complex but with all that wonderful balance. — 7 years ago
Clean and fresh. I like it. Dangerous, though, because it’s so easy to lose track of your sips. — 7 years ago

Aged in Banyuls casks, this French whiskey is my 2nd favorite in the world. Took me 10 years of looking to finally get it. — 11 years ago
Unctuous. Very enjoyable — 12 years ago
Quite a disappointing showing. While the wine had nice complexity the alcohol level was too pronounced. I assume this was chaptilized for the alcohol to show up this much for a 2011 vintage. Loved this producer's 1er cru champonnets Gevrey bottling but for a grand cru level this is not up to snuff. — 6 years ago
Wonderful nose....explosively aromatic. Perfume and bright red fruit. Taste on par with nose, but wine was thin and a little too acidic. But definitely worth it for the olfactory experience alone!! — 7 years ago

2008 vintage at pineapples and pearls. Absolutely delicious and even more so with food-they paired with crab but I drank with many other courses! — 9 years ago
