Spicy and earthy. Great fruit and balance. Really coming together. — a year ago
Smoke and earth, good fruit and little tannins. Delicious! — 2 years ago
Serious Super Tuscan expression. Massive nose. Black Cherry and boysenberry seem to meld together. Hints of vanilla and lavender too with Italian spice. . A complete mouthful. Medium acidity and tannins falling into place. An absolute joy to consume. — 4 years ago

Lots of sour cherries and tar on the nose. The palate is sour cherries, plums, tobacco and some smokiness. — 9 years ago
A real treat to see a 34 year old Italian beauty. Dried herb and fruit. Earthy, dark dried fruits. Soft soft tannin with rounded acid. Lost its vibrancy and that bang that sucks you in. Admirable it has held up and a beautiful experience. 89 points. — 11 years ago
Super interesting. Not as acidic and complex. Beautiful on the nose. Straddling between orange and white. — 8 months ago
Nice soft mousse body, yellow peach, tropical melons, pineapple, some lemon meringue, lime zest, slightly bitter apple cider, whipped cream, hard chalkiness, alluvial limestone, saline, sea fossils, bread crust, yeastiness, yellow florals, racey acidity, nicely balanced & structured with a finish that lasts 90 seconds.
Needs a few more years in bottle. — a year ago
Made from 50 to 100 year old vines and matured for 18 months in small and large oak vessels, of which 20% are new. Medium-ruby, the 2020 Terre Nerre Calderara Sottana is introduced by a hauntingly fragrant scent of red and black cherries, wild blackberries, Mediterranean herbs and crushed granite rock. The medium to full-bodied palate is marked by a firm tannic structure, nervy tension and wonderful fruit complexity, closing with an elegant, persistent finish. Drink now until 2040. — 2 years ago
We actually quite liked this, but were really confused about why this “dry white wine” came out red 🤷🏼♀️ — 5 years ago
Sorrel, raspberry, blackberry, brown sugar, slight lavender smell, color is dark purple not clear, taste is acidic, jammy, with a good tannin base hidden by sugars, the acid mixes well with the jam and greats a woody metallic fruity finish — 6 years ago
Was served chilled, and it was interesting to see how the flavor developed. A bit funky, in a good way. — 7 years ago
