Excellent wine. — 10 years ago
v96. A soft spot in my heart always as it was the year I won my champagne award. 96 a great but fruitful vintage, this baby still so young and while showing hazlenut brioche creme brûlée auto lysis development, could have easily been another 5 years. Stunning. Wish I could do it all over again — 10 years ago
🎶How do you like it, more, more, more! 🎶. To me this is so good! Balanced and delicious. — 10 years ago

Very original. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 with 13 YEARS in sur lie. Lots of tropical fruit: pineapple, passion fruit; stone fruit: ripe peach; notes of ripe cherry, Granny Smith Apple, intense creamy mousse and creaminess. A delicate perlage and acidity with medium finish. Slightly sweet aftertaste. You can't compare it with a Pinot Noir or any another grape with traditional method. Normally in USA they tend to do the opposite for reds (judge Pinot noirs as cabs - big mistake). In this case (bubbles) is the reverse. — 11 years ago

Aroma has nothing to do with when it hits the palate. Not very sweet. Perfect with cheese I would say. Even blue cheese — 8 years ago

Delamotte is the sister house to Salon. The Delamotte generally gets the grapes that do not go into Salon. The 07 while tasty is a little simple. Nice green apple, lemon/lime zest, grapefruit, grapefruit pit, touch oily, citrus blossoms, nice minerality & acidity but missing the level of chalk you'd expect. Honey & butterscotch candy comes out as it sits in the glass awhile. — 10 years ago
Salt, citrus, acid, directly to the point...wonder what time will do? — 10 years ago

Um dos melhores vinhos portugueses que já tomei. Bem incorpado, com acidez adequada e alto teor alcoólico. Da região de Sado, perto de Setúbal — 12 years ago
A slightly heavier Albarino than most but these guys can do it with some (a little) blending of other native grapes that only they can do .. Gives more complexity while maintaining that galician freshness we love albarino for. Of course these guys are no minor operation - they gave me a magnum with my name printed on it just for visiting. A very classy wine which has a permanent spot in my rack. 18.5 — 12 years ago
Think pink!!! Fresh, rich, fruity rosé from Portugal. Olho de perdiz (partridge's eye) from 2010 vintage, great QPR — 13 years ago
Kompleksno, zanimljivo i zavodljivo, nadasve fino. I skupo. — 13 years ago

I loved this wine. I do not care for white wines. Fruity, mineral, medium body. — 10 years ago

It has a deep purple color with a nose of packed fruit and taste of plums and dark berries along with a taste of oak but not overtly so. — 8 years ago
