There is a bit of caramel, licorice and cherry with some rose petal scent on this nose. A wide spectrum of scents and feelings to associate it with. The palate is really easy going with a good acid drive, rather straight forward, some matter, some grip on the sides, a spherical mid palate and tannins which tend to expand it and make it wider before a finish with red fruit notes and a fresh after taste that last for a while. Second attempt with this wine in this vintage and it clearly leads me to dig dipper into bardolinos. — 6 years ago

Slightly cloudy gold color (unfiltered) with lime zest, honeysuckle,and stone fruit aromas. On the palate, it's full-bodied, fresh, and very persistent with a wonderfully supple texture. Flavor-wise it shows white peach, lime, honey, and a suggestion of persimmon flavors with a long mineral laced finish. Bottled unfiltered. Battonage during 6 months sur lie aging in large oak casks impart some complexity and a wonderful creaminess. 13% alcohol — 11 years ago

White blend but with a light orange color. Dried persimmon aroma. Minerality, dry peach and orange. Bitterness lingers in a nice way. Holds a grudge I guess. Great overall and the glass stopper instead of a cork is a nice touch. $27 (or maybe $28?) from Rhodora. — 6 years ago
