Introduced at Charlie Bird, now serving at home! — 9 years ago
Lucious wine full of ripe blackberries. Not overly spiced and exceptionally smooth. Perfect with a simple filler steak followed by cheese. — 10 years ago
Strong Merlot notes once decanted, nice and rich — 10 years ago
2014 Wine Tasting Extravaganza; Wine Tasting Association. Very good, peppery, a little acid. — 11 years ago
Very light, fruity, sweet but not too sweet — 11 years ago
Color is like liquid copper, amazing. Took about an hour to open, then nearly as good as upon release, nice acid, Loire Cab Franc, tart strawberry on the palate. One more bottle and we're clean out, loved this wine, only found it once. One of our favorite bottles, with a bird on it! — 8 years ago
Smokey, canned corn, sandalwood, olives. Nice grit. — 9 years ago
1908. Still singing like a bird! — 10 years ago
Always love their Cabs. — 10 years ago
Medium bodied, tiny touch on the sweeter side but still dry. It is a rosé. — 10 years ago
This is one of the best double IPA's out there; whether it is a nitrous tap, bomber, or one year old bomber. The depth of this particular beer is perfect on its on its own, a burger with a bird on top, or with a good slow cooked meat. All in all, you will not be disappointed. — 11 years ago
Great find in Portland at little bird! Price point is great too for an 2002 — 12 years ago
Another great round for the flavorful bird , the taste is like apple juice if it was not sweet and had embodied every beutiful flavor of a white wine. — 9 years ago
Brooding, dark, inky and absolutely delicious. It's got some of those leathery, cigar box kinds of notes. Dash of dark chocolate on the nose. Plum. Black fruit. Concentrated. Nice chewy finish. Lingers. Rarely would I drink an Aussie merlot, yet this one's knocking it out of the park. — 9 years ago
If I'd known then what I know now. I find cab sav is most often a purchase based on speculation - they're frequently released far too young and are pretty much undrinkable in their youth. All overpowering tannin and intensity. This is an example of one very much worth the wait. Cool climate elegance combined with concentrated fruit and all sorts of complex notes layered throughout: menthol, cedar, blackcurrant, spice, hints of dusty chocolate and gently perfumed oak. Still has years ahead of it. Can't wait for dinner to finish cooking so I can sock it back with a rump steak. Should have bought more way back when! — 10 years ago
Infanticide. Served with the pasta course at the Charlie Bird pop up in Aspen. — 10 years ago
My favorite producer of Crozes Hermitage. Deep dark color with black cherry, creosote, iron, game bird, garrique very complex, spicy, black pepper on the finish. Need to buy more of this vintage. — 11 years ago
Earthy, round flavor. Dry but short finish. — 11 years ago
Love this every vintage & every different bird. — 11 years ago

Not a big Chardonnay drinker, but this grabbed me completely. Sweet and smooth, with real soft fruit to the end. Such a fan. — 8 years ago
