Fresh burgundy like, good with sushi — 10 years ago
Hey now! Racy, minerally, with exotic aromas of cumin and saffron, herbal notes of tarragon and oregano, pickled ginger, rainbow peppercorn, chamomile, oxidized grapefruit, lemon curd, palate is full of flavor and spice. Such a beautiful interplay of fruit, spice, and herbaceousness. With a pork chop and Brussels...heavenly. Continue to dig hard on "The Hof". — 10 years ago
Really nice expression of the varietal. Pears, melon, white peaches and citrus. A bit of a green quality. Tons of acidity and minerality. Light silvery yellow color. Great Springtime wine. — 7 years ago

Lime zest, crushed rock, minerality. — 6 years ago
Nice kiss of honey made it perfect beach wine. Was complex enough to enjoy on its own but would also be nice to start a meal. — 10 years ago
Spicy floral notes. Nice acidity. Crisp pear. Killer with asparagus risotto. Just ask Bobby. C'mon. — 11 years ago

I have been feeling unwell for the past couple of days and it may or may not be covid 19 as I have been in contact with someone who tested positive. In this country tests are scarce and reserved for people with severe symptoms which i don't seem to have (even though I was in rather bad shape yesterday night). As a matter of testing myself I opened this bottle to check if my senses of taste and smell are still working. Until now they are.
Lemon, and other citrusy scents on the bitter side (Bergamot?) along with white flowers and a mineral thing. There is a petrol thing too in there. The palate is well designed with some strong acid backbone, a nice citrus fruit all along with that nice, subtle bitterness, à good width and some grip, some volume in mid palate and a long finish with the same citrusy, gently bitter notes. This is a very good food wine! We had mussels and fries with it, great pairing. — 6 years ago
