The most amazing sparkling wine I have ever had! Seriously. Crisp and clean, not too acidic and not sweet. Perfect finish but no dry aftertaste. I'm buying a case next time. I will say, I forgot the varietal that it's made from and the label doesn't say. It is produced and bottled in Lodi. — 10 years ago

So. Last night cooked a rack of dry-rubbed ribs in my Instant Pot. Tonight topped with Kinders BBQ sauce and put under broiler for a few minutes (best ribs I've had in years!!). Paired with mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, and this most delicious wine from Tanner Vineyards (Sierra Foothills). Some moments the cherry fruit stood out, others pepper, tobacco, and soft oak. Each sip a delight. Nice balanced acid too, I might add. Of course, now wish I had more bottles in my cellar. I guess I will just have to revisit the winery. Darn. (Mourvèdre, Carignane, Petit Syrah, syrah.) $26

Ps: I used smoked paprika instead of regular.

Effervescent and bouncy acidity. Well-balanced tannins. Soft, mellifluous finish with a slight bite. Florals fizz on the nose and carbonated raspberries on the palate. Tanner appears to be satisfied. -at the soft opening of T'aint — 10 years ago
