Always such a pleasure to drink his wines. Notes of earth, garrigue, cocoa, bubble gum, and dusty tannins. Delicious. — 10 years ago
Baseball card bubble gum. — 10 years ago
One of my favorite $6 Wegmans wine. — 11 years ago
Ruby red color, a nose of cherries, pepper, and american oak on the finish. Medium body with a gentle peak of acidity that gives way to a prickly, slightly bitter tannic finish. Nice balance for a young Aussie! — 11 years ago
Incredibly smooth, easy to drink, 57 degrees is a perfect temp. Boobla says bubble gum. — 12 years ago
I think greenock wines are not my cup of tea. Classic note of soy sauce, a greenish note and bubble gum. I am sure some will like this style but just not me — 8 years ago
Strawberry yogurt bubble gum banana and red liquorish on the nose. Inferior strawberry, rhubarb, and cranberries on the palate. Enjoyed this a lot - easy drinking — 8 years ago
I can't stop drinking this... This might be a good problem... Dark red ruby in color with a medium-plus intensity. The nose is filled with dark bing cherries, fresh cranberries, wet violets, wild mushrooms, moss, forest floor, smoked wood, and wet rocks. The palate was fleshy, mysterious and refined. Mushrooms and a perfect dose of acidity and chewy tannic structure made the finish irresistible. It's balance competes and stands tall with any of the great Burgundy producers. It's truly astonishing how this 12.5% Gamay is so complex. This bottle is hard to put down. Cheers to a perfect Friday night! — 9 years ago
Enjoying a Valentine's Day dinner and a great wine! This super Tuscan will stand tall amongst the most expensive wines out there. So smooth and great balance. This is one of our favorites. — 9 years ago
This thing is like a merengue cookie after you get through the citrus zest and gum arabic candy crust. There is a tangerine characteristic, that turns into tangerine pith, and has a powdered sugar millisecond before becoming bony and rich. This thick little lady is bumping in every respect! — 10 years ago
Pleasant, refreshing, great with truffle cheese. Bottle is very tall. Buy again. — 10 years ago
On the nose was a toasted cedar plank, red berries and bubble gum. On the palate this vintage offers red and black berries, smoked oak, vanillin. Medium plus acidity, medium minus tannins. Smooth mouthfeel, luscious experience, ruby red colour with a cranberry hue. Perfect pairing for a cedar plank salmon. This vintage is newly released and ready to enjoy. Thanks to Mr Dick Wallingford at Rutherford ranch for the intro. 14% alc. Although I agree with the label, which recommends short ribs, I strongly recommend maple glazed smoked salmon for an excellent pairing. — 10 years ago
I am so happy to be trying this Pinot Grigio from north eastern Italy, Alto Adige. I have read a few articles on this region and my friend Erik had been taking it up lately so I had to jump in with both feet. The aromas are wonderful with peach, pear, melon, cotton candy, and bubble gum. The palate is very smooth with a rich round mouthfeel and the full fruit of peach and pear. There is a bright & lively acidity and a touch of chalky minerality on the backend. This is at a great QPR $16.79 — 11 years ago
The winery is the equivalent of 18 stories tall. Underground, in a mountain. — 12 years ago
On the lighter side, but strong and VERY very smooth. Almost no aftertaste at all — 8 years ago
Smells like orange blossoms and cherry cough syrup (in a promising and good way), tastes like tart red berries, pomegranate. 2016 was a hard year for Beaujolais, but despite lacking that bubble gum pop, this will surely find a place at the Thanksgiving table alongside a fatty-gravy-having, moist turkey w/ cranberry sauce...I don't care what anyone thinks. Plus a light wine helps w/ not succumbing to the tryptophane and passing out early or calling aunty Carol a trashmonger. — 8 years ago
Bubble gum, dry red roses and a little spice on the nose. Dark raspberries, dark cherries, raspberries, some strawberries, bubble gum, bandaid, violets & red roses, granite, soft spice and rich sweet dark soil. There's nice evolution in the bottle as its so soft, smooth and elegant. Jean Foillard, Marcel La Pierre and Yvon Metras are my favorite producers for Gamay. — 9 years ago
Wonderful wine. Acid-driven and dry. Early notes strangely reminiscent of a flavor between grape gum and bubble gum in the best way possible. Thanks so much @Alan Weinberg — 9 years ago
Gorgoeus wine that, yes, smells like bazooka bubble gum and glorious white flowers. Faintly sweet with white flowers and wet stones and a hint of honey. — 10 years ago
Started as a new, grey rubber assault. But blew off to a subdued floral honey. And cut, nearly dried grass. White peach poking its fuzzy head into the equation. Medium-heavy mouthfeel explodes with aromatics from peach and lemon-lime to grapefruit pith in a moment of acidic clarity that effervesces against sunflower, and dandelion and a sweet pistachio that dunks your head in its sensually charged unctuous-ness. Stony and Indian gum interplay with the pit fruit in an enduring ending. — 10 years ago
Great Pinot- twist top might make it the go-to for BYO. Has a little bit of a bubble gum flavor that I don't like, but overall a great wine — 10 years ago
Smokey, full bodied...enjoyed with friend on a trip to see them in London. — 11 years ago
This is a one of the affordable wine that you can buy any grocery store so smooth and sweat ,but not to sweat. Great price, great wine!! — 12 years ago
