As good as it get gets. Lasting finish. — 7 years ago
Beautifully crafted Chardonnay with a perfect balance of oak, fruit and butter. Impressive. Had some bottle age (7 years) which added to the complexity. — 8 years ago

Girlfriend out of town so that means I drink chard (she's not a fan)
Two 2013 reserve wines from her work (gallo)
Both are nice. The j strata is very citrusy but also has some butter and oak. The talbott more fruit than the j (less citrusy and more stone fruit). The j has probably done better with age.

A full flavored Chardonnay without going over the top. Excellent! — 8 years ago
One if the best Pinot's I've had. From a small vineyard plot high above the Carmel Valley. Amazing balance of fruit/acid and finish. It was perfect with Anne's Osso Bucco — 9 years ago
Soft tannins, floral nose, pretty wine. This would be a daily drinker for me. — 6 years ago
Not good with Italian foods, but great with steak. — 6 years ago
Gorgeous buttery Chardonnay — 7 years ago
Not as good as the 98 but still pretty enjoyable showing lots of the qualities of an older mature wine with ripe tanins and mature fruit - good bit of richness for a Pinot — 8 years ago
Very High QPR. Reminds me of a Talbott Sleepy Hollow but with far less oak. — 8 years ago
Very good. — 9 years ago

I thought this was super good...deep yellow, ripe/tart fruit, yellow apples, pears, vanilla, brioche, hint of malalactic...the rocky/stony character was amazing and acid was medium plus... could have told me it was Burgundy(maconnais) , RRV , lovely Chardonnay... — 4 years ago
