Tasted at the winery. Great example of a well made Campania white. — 7 years ago
Bright and floral with peach, overripe pear, crushed flowers, lemon, and an herbal/mossy undertone. Medium acid, 13.5% alcohol, medium finish with some light mineral notes, sea salt and lemon curd. Yum. — 7 years ago
Very delicate salted caramel taste among other things. — 7 years ago

Wow. Pretty easily the best white wine that I've had (I've not had many).
Great nose. Some nice depth there, some kind of earthiness that I've never experienced w a white. Great, a little poopy, in a good way. Nice popping fruit, great acid.
Too hot, alcohol a bit high. Bit it a prob all a package deal. The fruit maybe wouldn't be as nice otherwise.
Medium bodied, nice & creamy, but not too heavy. The acidity keeps it fresh & light, I think.
Fun. I could drink this. — 10 years ago
Great meeting Domenico and Nicola Ocone. This aglianico was full of black cherry and easy drinking well made wine — 11 years ago
A very well balanced glass - a full bodied refreshing taste with a citrus note throughout in the background, emerging at the end. Very drinkable and easy to enjoy as a stand-alone. — 6 years ago
Need to buy again to truly understand the range of this wine. — 7 years ago
Delicious! Honey, apple, apricot, plum, and wildflower aromas. Lightly acidic, a bit tannic. Well-balanced. The wine was overwhelmed by dinner (saltimbocca), and was far better on its own. Would definitely buy again. — 7 years ago
Gravel and lemon rind on the nose. Honey, green apple, green pear, mineral, lemon, and grapefruit on the palate. Slight citrus rind/seed astringency. A good bit of alcohol for a white. There's something kind of herbal/vegetal to it, but I can't put my finger on it. Good, medium-long finish. — 9 years ago
Perf for our dins at mays fish camp! — 9 years ago
2009 is a ripe, juicy vintage and here (6 years later) it is all coming together. Leather, wet tobacco, later on, violets. — 9 years ago
Nice tannins, berry, sour cherry, delish — 10 years ago
Massively complex nose of concentrated fruit and spices. Follows with more complexity in mouth, beautifully developed tannins. Big, powerful, but in perfect balance. — 11 years ago

Sciascinoso and Aglianico blend, which are varietals native to Campania. Intense ruby with cherry and floral notes. Great example from one of the best and creative wine lists in Toronto or anywhere, hands down. 91+
