Much better day 2. Red fruit, leather, fairly light bodied, dry and balanced but not too complex. — 6 years ago
Bright, structured, green apple and perfume, tart. Enjoyed it - sense it will hold well over time. August 2018. — 7 years ago
Perfect on a warm night outside. Complex and crunchy but very easy to enjoy. — 8 years ago
Aromas of fruit compote. Strong tannins, vine, but fresh. — 8 years ago
French Chardonnay with more mineral than oak but still a tad of the latter. Much more minerals than a California version. — 10 years ago
Great aromatics. Mix of fresh and dried red berry with a nice floral lift. Good energy. — 11 years ago
The 2012 Cathiard Aux Reignots (along with Malconsorts and Petits Monts, my favorite 1er cru Vosne vineyard), is much more masculine and dark fruited than the MG. Really a great side by side. There is some reduction and prevalent new oak, but there is just such depth and structure to this wine and it’s destined to live for the long haul. But unlike how reticent many 12’s can be right now, as the reduction dissipates, it offers a great deal of pleasure. Reignots is really a special vineyard. — 4 years ago
The aromas are tropical lemon blossoms and being on a pebble beach. Lemon custard and the hint of pineapple (including that feeling on your tongue that pineapple gives you - in a very light good way) round finish. Vintages 2014/2015. Disgorged 1/6/2018. TBL — 5 years ago
Pale lemon with a hint of green. Aromas of peach, apple, pear and Christmas spice. Nectarine, Lennon and orange emerge with Lovely minerality on a Long finish — 7 years ago
No. 2 in the Vosne Romanee bracket. Some spirity oak notes. A sweetness to the palate with drying fine Tannins. Re- tasting:- Not quite up to the others in this bracket in terms of weight. A little alcoholic and clumsy in this company. My least pointed at 95 points but still a Gold Medal! — 8 years ago

Rich and beautifully balanced — 6 years ago
Big wafting nose. Honeysuckle, guava, even some plantains. Mineral with some granite as well peeking through and way way floral. Almost a floral paste. Hint of wood. So killer. So pure. Sick classic Billon Condrieu nose. Palate is classic Billon and not gloppy and floppy but has energy and intensity while also showcasing the exotic side of Condrieu. Shows amazing persistence and great dramatic minerals on the finish. Excellent. — 7 years ago
A really nice, well balanced white. Kind of reminds me of Caymus Conundrum — 9 years ago
