From Syrah, Grenache, Chenin Blanc, and even this, 100% old vine Cinsault, raised in concrete and stainless steel, this wine is pure, vibrant, spicy and fresh with great depth in its pretty bouquet of wild strawberries, dark , stemmy fruit and minerals. This is just crazy good for the price. The fruit is dark and a little more overt than I am used to in a Rhone, the earth a little more mineral than garrigue (this could all totally be in my mind but who cares). The world "layered" comes to mind when enjoying the complexity of this. Ahhh! Right up my alley. Buying more. — 10 years ago
