Lovely rose'. More skin contact, strawberry a little salty. — 9 years ago
I had the blanc de blanc. Very pleasing freshness and persistence. This is seriously well made and refined. A worthy contender in the burgeoning English sparkling wine scene. — 9 years ago

The wine is clear and bright with a medium lemon colour.
The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium+ intensity aromas of lemon peel, rye bread, brioche, green apple and hints of honey.
The wine is medium-sweet, with a high well-integrated acidity. It has a medium alcohol and a medium+ body. It has medium+ intensity flavours and a medium finish.
It is a very good quality wine. Demi-sec are not my style, but it has a wonderful balance between acidity and sweetness, and it shows a quite decent complexity provided by autolytic and maturity notes. However it is a bit short. — 10 years ago
Delicious effort from the enthusiastic students at Plumpton (the English equivalent of UC Davis, San Michele or Roseworthy!) worth seeking out. — 10 years ago
This was the 2010 vintage. It was a dry rose with good flavour.

Lovey, really fresh, dry, apples, peach, hints of rose. — 9 years ago
Quite a pale coloured sparkling wine with a quite light bouquet of pear. The taste is a delightful but delicate ripe pear and lime. Quite soft and refreshing albeit the aftertaste is relatively short-lived. Lacks the complexity of a full blown champagne but I rank this 'grower' English sparkling wine as superior to Nyetimber's classic cuvée. Ultimately very quaffable and (currently) very good value. Recommended. — 9 years ago
Proof that the beat English fizz can age beautifully. A rare magnum from Ridgeview; pioneers of the English winemaking revival and still one of its greatest producers. The Blanc de Blanc style is becoming an English classic. — 10 years ago
My first Bacchus wow, aromatic grassy but with tropical hints. Very well executed — 10 years ago
Very dark, but smooth and bubbly and not as heavy as it appears. Tasty and easy to drink like a lager with notes of chocolate. — 11 years ago
Fantastic with the fillet of Sussex beef, wild mushrooms, rosti potato and pepper sauce. — 11 years ago
To Margaret Thatcher. May she rest in peace. RidgeView 100% Pinot Noir Rose from England. Delightful. Fresh, dried red fruits, citrus peel, hint of nuts, soft and creamy. — 12 years ago
