Juicy red berries, eucalyptus, intense floral notes. Super funky, but yet so balanced. Playful. Like butterfies in your belly, it’s like a crazy romance. One of the best I drank in 2017! — 6 years ago

Final bottle from the Spell Estate is their Chardonnay from the Dutton Sullivan Vineyard. Clear yellow with a hint of gold and some green. Very tight initially. Finally after a few hours there were some white fruits, light tropical and citrus notes. A bit of honeysuckle too. Very refreshing with a creamy texture. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) with some green apples, citrus and cooked pears. A little zesty too. Light bodied and long finish. Drink till 2020. — 8 years ago
Really loving this. Vibrant nose of carbonic red fruit/cherry/raspberry, flowers/hibiscus/rose, savoury herbs. Drinking it is very enjoyable. The fruit is more sour cherry/cranberry balanced by those herb notes and with some dirt/earth minerality. Blind, I would probably call this Beaujolais. — 8 years ago
Excellent. One of the better young Napa cabs I've had in a very long time. — 8 years ago

Such a wonderful blend! — 11 years ago
Another masterpiece from @Sullivan Vineyards. Cherry, plum, vanilla-laced oak, and a loamy, dusty finish. Mouth-filling but subtle. Loads of interest for the experienced; great introduction for the novice. One to savor. — 6 years ago

T is not one to buy a bottle of white, especially when in Napa. He picked this. — 7 years ago
Wow. Really good merlot, and I usually prefer cabs. Best of the day between three wineries. — 8 years ago

Another big hit here at Sullivan. Great wines here today. — 8 years ago
Solid. Slight oxidation. Slightly finished color from the typical vibrancy of a Napa merlot. Fruit still present. Alcohol is there. Great wine — 8 years ago
On a roll with me down under buddies. Y'all know how I feel about Pat Sullivan. Like a juicy clementine being rubbed into yer gums. Magic. I've got to go on to a tasting sesh after this with Tutto and Gergovie; already in no fit state. Updates coming up. — 8 years ago
