Assyrrikos rape with Chardonnay blended in a fantastic interesting way!! Fresh, white and green fruits, pepper and very special tastes of myrtle and ethereal herbs.

Sweet cherries on the nose, plums, earthiness, and slight salinity. Palate finishes dry, with tart cherry. Medium body. Reminds me of piedmont nebbiolo. β 7 years ago

Challenging vintage 2014 was in Northern Greece. This is Xinomavro from 60 year old vines grown at 600m elevation. Draws distinct parallels with Nebbiolo- floral nose leading into red cherry, cranberry, almond paste, leather, caraway seed and mint. Leathery tannins and decent acid retention. Finish falls away a bit, but otherwise pretty handy stuff. β 7 years ago
Supremely drinkable. All day really. β 8 years ago
Flowery and crisp, was able to drink an exceptional amount of this during a wedding in Thessaloniki. β 2 years ago

Fresh, crunchy red fruit, medium on the palate, yet with a tannic grip and with bright, juicy acidity. Highly drinkable. β 7 years ago

Wow, what a stunner! This Xinomavro has so much energy, is fruitdriven but with a strong tannic backbone. Sooo good! β a year ago
