Crisp, refreshing finish with vibrant acidity. Andrew Rich and Croft Vineyards from whom the fruit is sourced are amongst the few Willamette Valley producers of Sauvignon Blanc. If there were some magical continuum of wine, this is immediately to the left of hyper extracted Pinot Noir. I don't know that it would be accurate to call it a Pinot-lovers Syrah, but I'll go with that anyway. — 9 years ago
