More buttery than the One Sky but still light and crisp. Gentle citrus with a hint of vanilla. First vintage for this wine, and a very promising start. — 7 years ago
Great Chardonnay with notable Minerality and bright acidity. Complex texture , subtle ,elegance — 8 years ago
Beautiful color. Blue fruit, leather, baking spices on the nose. Excellent tastes of blueberries, plums, raisins, and black pepper saturate your palate. Really sleek tannins, very nicely balanced and a fantastic finish. The first Moon Mountain district (Sonoma) I’ve ever had. I love it! — 8 years ago
Light but still with something that sticks out. Works well with heavy spice. — 9 years ago
Olive notes, a little hot, but a fine quaff. — 10 years ago
Nice job Bob Cabral. Up there with Selyem single vineyards! — 10 years ago
Mellow medium body and soft tannins. An hour's breath brings out beautiful beastly red fruits. Currant, dark cherry, blueberry. This one's conversational. — 10 years ago
Not bad 18$ — 11 years ago
Perfect bottle, intense amazing minerlaity, sticks forever, perfect balance. Just amazing, fav chablis since a while! — 6 years ago
Crunchy almost snappy red berries, sticks and earth and a nice salty character at the finish...Overshooting it’s $15 price tag by far. Good Ol’ School Sangiovese! — 8 years ago
Delicious. Sweet on the nose-maple syrup, clove and baking spice. Relaxed tannins yet still present. Taste of root-beer, blueberry....just yummy! A finish that delivers well after your done. Drink now! @Bill Price — 10 years ago
A really well balanced and elegant Chard. I loved it, Kylah is not sure and wants to revisit it. Talk about a classic, perfect Cali Chard. This has everything. It is not a big bully throwing sawdust and vanilla sticks at your head. It's soft, sophisticated, and delish. — 10 years ago
Tart with a cherry taste and sweet end. Good food wine.... We forgot the food. — 10 years ago
Melon and stone fruit nose. Lime and hints of grapefruit with a mild finish. Nice balance of oak to steel. — 10 years ago
Needs decanting — 11 years ago
Medium to dark red color. Red black and blue fruit both tart and ripe. Sticks to glass. Medium plus body. Higher acidity and tannins. Smooth finish that leaves the tongue dry. — 7 years ago
Very drinkable. Should have got a couple more bottles and saved one — 7 years ago
The cheaper Shiraz with a few years on it was lovely — 8 years ago
Lighter than I prefer, but still nice. — 8 years ago
I love the fruit the comes from SLH and Gary does a great job with this offering. Very complex nose-omnidirectional comes to mind. Red beets, cinnamon sticks and dried berries on the nose. Savory on entry, slight spice on the mid palate with blackberry, and a Montreal steak season flavor on the back of the palate. Extremely layered. Slight underbrush finish that's persistent. — 9 years ago
Really, really good and kept getting better with each glass. Best wine I've had in a while. — 10 years ago
2009 vintage. Strawberry cordial, blood, hibiscus, aspirin, cinnamon sticks. Tremendous acid. This wine goes on for days. — 10 years ago
Feminine, elegant nose. Cherry along with stone, rose and violet notes. Tannin sticks out a bit on the palate, giving a nod to the aging potential. — 11 years ago
