Wonderful nose of dark fruit, oak and cinnamon. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, baking spices and oak. A bold wine with solid tannins that are still working to put on silk gloves. This is a blend of grapes from all 15 AVA's in Napa back in 2010. Probably has another decade or more in terms of optimal bottle life. Steve Reynold's at his best. — 8 years ago

Medium bodied, tiny touch on the sweeter side but still dry. It is a rosé. — 10 years ago

Lucious wine full of ripe blackberries. Not overly spiced and exceptionally smooth. Perfect with a simple filler steak followed by cheese. — 9 years ago
Weird cheesy aroma. Oddly refreshing. — 10 years ago

A great effort and a nice wine but way bigger than this variety should be, Napa is not the place for Mondeuse. Many thanks to Carole and Steve for planting this! — 8 years ago
Another masterstroke from Steve Pannel, beautiful cold climate shiraz, good body, dark berries, touch of soft spice but overall a nice fruit driven shiraz for Australian climates. — 8 years ago
Old school Napa Cab at its best in the hand of Steve Matthiasson. — 8 years ago
A very nice Bordeaux blend from Steve Reynolds. Excellent notes of rose petals, cinnamon and earthiness. On the palate I pick up dark and red fruit, spice and rosemary. Very smooth tannins wrapped around a hint of acidity that makes for a very nice mouthfeel and finish. One of our favorite wineries in Napa. @ — 9 years ago
Fair disclosure, I sell this wine in our wine shop, but there's a good reason @Steve Matthiasson — 10 years ago

Steve Eisenhauer made great wines from this site - clear and varietally correct, never too ripe, with a medium body, and lovely subtle elements of clove/band-aid Brett and tobacco that enhanced the classic flavors of black currant. — 7 years ago
