Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black berry/currant/cherry with additional notes of dried figs and tobacco. Dark fruit also on the palate with hints of dark chocolate, plums, roasted nuts, sweet spices and earth. Dark cherries, plum, blackberries, black raspberries, mid berry cola/licorice, hint of eucalyptus, dark, rich soil, dry, crushed rocks, limestone, soft; clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt me grilled meats,soft smokiness, mix of dark & red flowers with violets. Starting to soften just slightly and drinks well now with a short decant. Bright red fruits from the grenache, some darker and more savory elements from the mourvedre and just a touch of syrah which I can’t pick out on the palate but makes for a nice bouquet. — 7 years ago

Loud blueberries, cran Pom grape good, clean, smooth, mouthfeel and wonderfully light heft. A whole lot bouncing around in this wine. The acid oak balance is strikingly harmonious.
Lingering blue fruit skin. A good one to watch the latest GOT with.
