Blueberry, blackberry with tobacco and coffee beans. Tannins are soft with a good bit of sediment. Great Syrah. — 9 years ago
Spectacular dinner party wine--affordable enough to stack em up, light and fresh, tasty and versatile — 10 years ago
Nice and bold, but extremely high in OH! Another great value at half off though. — 10 years ago
The St Eden was one of 2 (the Vecina) that I couldn't identify as coming from a terrible vintage, and could stack up against some of the best. Big, vanilla and liquorice nose. Some mushroomy notes, earthy dark cherry. Very ready now, may improve a bit. — 10 years ago
Showing no signs of age. Lots of pepper, dark fruit and a whiff of bacon. Would stack up well against the heavy hitters of the northern Rhone. Still lots of potential here. — 11 years ago
Dark earth and meaty, complex and exotic — 11 years ago

At Jack Stack love their Malbec! — 12 years ago
This wine is amazing. The acidity is still vibrant. The flavors explode on the palate. It's amazing how fresh it still tastes. Just found out these guys are starting back up and I can't wait to taste the new vintage. — 9 years ago
This wine is a stunner. The fruit is vivid but not overpowering. The mouthfeel is silky but weightless at the same time. And the acidity is sublimely balanced with the rest of the wine. A truly excellent expression of pinot noir. — 10 years ago
Punches miles above its price range. Delicious and smooth. Best not mixed with other wines as they never stack up... — 11 years ago
6 months skin contact...old as old school gets! Whiskey drinkers wine - smoke stack! — 11 years ago

Yumville. Bright, juicy, and a "come hither" finish are a great match with clams casino. — 12 years ago
When you had a great wine you know it. It is when you wake up the next day and the one think on your mind is...That Wine! Chénas Quartz 2014 Cru Beaujolais from Domaine Piron-Lameloise is beautiful with its 'Teinte Grenat' colour. The nose is floral, Roses, with a touch of leather and also earthy and fruit forward of black Bing cherries. The depth of the wine is pleasantly surprising! It is better to decant it for 1hr and serving temperature should be around 17C. Stack on this wine for your cellar. It is a rare Gem! Wine pairing: For cheese lovers a nice blue cheese! Wine & Dine: Aiguillettes de canard accompanied with Cherry Chutney! One glass and you are Creating Moments! — 9 years ago
2006 vintage. Did let it breathe for a while. Still good and and solid. Nice fruit and tannins. Found it in my stack of wines. I am glad. — 10 years ago
Great Chardonnay from Pisoni. Definitely one to stack in cellar — 10 years ago
This wine opens up over time, even overnight gives it a whole new character that is very pleasant, and balanced. — 11 years ago
I forgot how good this IPA was. Had it about 2 Christmas ago in a growler. My brother @notrog gave me a growler of this. It was so good then, it is so good now. And now that its in bombers, it might be my favorite bottled IPA from NYS. The hops shine through on this one nicely. If I'm not mistaken, I smell some Nelson Sauvin hops. Juicy, fresh fruit, its tropical fruit, citrus fruit some tree fruit too. Great malt profile that sweetens up the bitterness from the hops perfectly. Clean dry finish keeps you coming back for more. Balanced. Only down fall, the midpalate might be a bit short or watery. Go find this from @singlecutbeer and enjoy. #beer #craft #craftbeer #craftbeerny #nysbeer #nydrinksny #tasteny #singlecut #astoria #queens #billy #ipa — 11 years ago
