Elegant, sexy, yet humble in its restaint. Floral, citrus leaves, ocean breeze. We enjoyed it with carnita tacos, and good company. — 13 years ago

#GevreyChambertin #2008 👏💃 #Feminine a bit #Bitchy but she knows what she wants and doesn't give a shit what you think of her ... She's full of #Tart red fruit... Because she's a bit of a Tart herself... She's got some #Spice because she's got #Sass .... She's also #Savory because every girl worthwhile is... Quite frankly she's #MyKindOfGirl 🍷🍷🍷🍷 @thechickstarter @theCou @thecourtneydavis @davidschulhof — 9 years ago

Tasting this wine v Littorai Cerise and a 2005 Gevrey Lavaux St Jacques. Nose is great; taste is bright cherries; a happy wine. Will be great with the duck with cherries for dinner. B — 10 years ago

This is a Burgundy that needs to breathe, as both the nose and the taste expand exponentially over time. At first taste I was not impressed. While the initial nose was pleasing, I thought it was only average. I was distracted by other things and came back to it about 30 minutes later. The difference was nothing short of amazing; complex cherry, currants and dark chocolate wafted through my nose and it was both smooth and delicious. Zero aftertaste with a good balance between tannins and acidity. — 7 years ago
