Prepping for NYE with a split if this...unlike the selyem the other day, this has depth, and much more going on in the flavor and aroma department...lemon, flowers (lavender? And hint of fennel?), slate...smooth yet strong acidic backbone...need to have next to a Chablis and compare... — 10 years ago
Big, deep, inky enough to fill a fountain pen with. Forward raspberry/black cherry fruit balanced with raucous tannins and mellowed by faint caramel notes from the oak. $50.

Yep another one, apparently a cellar full of working for wine is up for drinking. The 2002, What can I say this split, was sound and solid. Great balance and elegance. Might have to open up a full bottle next time. Thanks Jim! — 11 years ago
Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had more. This was a split and was perfect with Chef Daniel's Chicken Grand-mère Francine I cooked up. — 11 years ago

Out of a split. Popped and poured. Massive shot of kirsch. Sweet, velvety tannins. A light tough of vanilla. Delicious and drinking so well right now. — 11 years ago

Split that I picked up earlier today. Yeasty wine, I like it. Not as acidic as I was expecting but still very good. I’m generally not super into biodynamic wines but wines like this force me to reconsider.
