Great price point and a nice surprise. Love how they spell AVA out. 😜 — 9 years ago
Once again, Nick slipped something in my mouth and I have to thank him on the interweb. When does it end? Never heard of these peeps but I highly recommend. I never spell recommend correctly. — 9 years ago

The 2010 has a little less body than I recall the 2009 having and seems a bit more elegant. You can't spell Rioja without @bodegasmuga — 10 years ago
A roller coaster ride in red. It flatlined for a spell, but 3 hours after opening this bottle couldn't be a more pleasant old friend. — 10 years ago
Great body! Smooth and vibrant palate! — 11 years ago
Strawberry jam wine. Drank this during a rare heat spell. Light enough for the warm weather, and fruitiness was very refreshing. Once paired with food, the fruitiness was a bit excessive. — 8 years ago
Gorgeous, rich and lush wines I can't spell but love out of magnum @Noreetuh. — 9 years ago
Quality pinot from Patagonia, & the son of Sassicaia winery family fame, Has a generous dark berry core & sage on edges , w mineral spine, Not light, but takes time in the glass. Eye opening juice & faint spell bargain at under 18$ on sale in my hood. — 9 years ago

This is the most delicious young red wine that I have had in a long time. This open Vosne, loaded with dark fruit aromatics and flavors had me under its spell immediately. It had ripeness and texture to go along with all of the Burgundian intangibles. Will one case be enough? — 8 years ago
Final bottle from the Spell Estate is their Chardonnay from the Dutton Sullivan Vineyard. Clear yellow with a hint of gold and some green. Very tight initially. Finally after a few hours there were some white fruits, light tropical and citrus notes. A bit of honeysuckle too. Very refreshing with a creamy texture. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) with some green apples, citrus and cooked pears. A little zesty too. Light bodied and long finish. Drink till 2020. — 9 years ago

Quite nice, a perfect compliment to boeuf bourguinon (or however you spell it). Fruity and fresh, but deep enough to hold up to stew. — 9 years ago

Needs some time. Young and still wound up. High toned, with structure, going to age well. — 10 years ago
Usually when I taste rosso di montalcino, I just want it to be brunello. This is different: it clearly shows Montalcino terroir but has its own voice and complexity with ripened cherries from the warm Montalcino sun supported with with spicy sweet Tuscan underbrush, as though we were hiking in the fall during a spell of Indian summer. — 10 years ago

The driest of the dry tannin wine from left bank, south of the Gironde, Bordeaux: Saint Estephe. What is it with these wines from this region? Narrow, yet so succulently rich. Deep dry dark mineral fruit that puts you in a spell .... a thirst for more...but there isn't more.....Had to share it with my wife. — 8 years ago
