Sweet expressive oak up front on the aroma, lots of tannin mid palate that lingers. Slight spear/mint develops after a few minutes. — 11 years ago
This starts out with a tight knit nose of red fruit, mint, and a hint of woodsmoke. Later, aromas intensified into darker red fruit. Flavors offer up dark reds, licorice, spice, silky tannin, and a spear of acidity. Paired awesome with tonite's pizza. One more bottle left but will need more for sure. — 11 years ago
