Big Table Farm

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Reddish in color with light intensity.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing raspberries, sweet strawberries, cherish, earth, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, herbs and black pepper.

This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Oregon is drinking very nicely now. Complex and interesting. Feels like a lightly aged Burgundy.

Good right out of the bottle, and gets earthier as it opens. Will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

I had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.

Elegant and good by itself or with food.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$45.

Solid as always. Higher alcohol and wood than other bottles. Might need a decant as I PnP’d. Started off great with dark cherries and depth, but became astringent over time. — 6 months ago

From a great house. This 11 is just seeming beyond peak but expresses the attributes of a good cold vintage Pinot — 6 years ago

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2022

This medium bodied Oregon Pinot displays a range of aromatic flavors and notes. In addition to raspberries there are underlying notes of mushroom and leather.
Excellent pairing with aged Ribeye Steak and family.

Chateau Ste. Michelle & Dr. Loosen

Eroica Columbia Valley Riesling 2013

Right on the money with this Riesling! Straw in color and star bright. Nose was filled with lemon-lime, honeydew, Granny Smith apples, wild honey, citrus blossom, ginger, and new plastic pool toy aromas. The palate was extremely well balanced and the acidity was high and puckering. The tart lemon and lime flavors held through the finish. The finish was surprisingly long, and it was a nice medium-minus body. This Riesling provides a solid compliment to spicy sushi and spicy foods. It holds up strong and has a lot of backbone. All in all, this is your Riesling if you are looking for a refreshing, acidic, dry breath of fresh air. Instant favorite of mine! Washington dry Rieslings are spectacular. Cheers! — 9 years ago

Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

A popular US import here in Zürich, at least with my family. Had it many times, very consistent. Solid Cab, very bold and fruit-forward, a little syrupy, some red licorice. Some haters on Delectable, but it never let me down. Very grill-worthy with plenty of smoked meats. — 5 months ago
