#capewine2018 — 7 years ago
Just balanced thread of Shiraz pepper and velvet consistency on the tongue. Will age very well, but very good now also. — 9 years ago

Yum yum yum. Vibrant, natural, gulpable, grape juice. Sour red fruit, walnuts, herbs. Drank over lots of discussion of mouseyness, and thought I detected some after opened for a while, but I could have just been drunk and imagining things. — 10 years ago
A little expensive for what it was but had nose cherry and herb . Creamy mouth feel with acid that blended nicely( surprise for an Aussie) bright cherry Med acid long very pleasant finish. — 10 years ago

Hot off the Press. Always one of Australia’s better Rieslings over decades. Dried white flowers on the nose. On the palate bracing citric acid with the tension you would expect from a young Riesling. A long life ahead as always. I still have a couple of the 2002 left. — 7 years ago

What a cool little weirdo. Wouldn't have guessed Australia in a blind. Syrah, Pinot Meunier, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc?! Looks like a Pinot Noir and drinks like a red made by a white wine maker. Cool. — 10 years ago
Had the 2011 vintage. Bought in 2015 trip. Plums and dusty taste. Tannins come through at end — 11 years ago
