Nice smooth Pinot once opened up — 10 years ago
A bit sleepy, but very nicely balanced, smooth velvety texture, intense blueberries, and a hint of smoke. — 11 years ago
Love the oakiness, full of flavor Chardonnay! Nice balance of sweetness and acidity. — 11 years ago
Not surprisingly talented-- yet sleepy. This is the wine equivalent of a Sam Smith song. — 11 years ago

Delish, sweet white wine. — 13 years ago
Bright sharp cherry with a bit of earth. Nicely lean, not jammy. Hides its 14.8% abv. Could stand with a good Sonoma Coast or richer Willamette Valley. I'd say yes. — 9 years ago
Not as good as the 98 but still pretty enjoyable showing lots of the qualities of an older mature wine with ripe tanins and mature fruit - good bit of richness for a Pinot — 10 years ago
A full flavored Chardonnay without going over the top. Excellent! — 10 years ago
As you see the cork is perfect. I've had this in my cellar for years and decided it was time. At first he nose had a cork smell but now after being open for 4 hours it's a different wine. Pear, apricot, nectarine, and good acid. Not like I'm ever going to have anymore of this so #fugetaboutit — 10 years ago
Sleepy Hollow Vineyard. Toasty with a pleasant and sharply tart finish. — 11 years ago
Excellent mellow wine. Slightly sleepy — 11 years ago
Soaring aromas of spice and lemon followed by bright acid and structure. Gorgeous texture and a precise, long finish. Seven years old and this is a current release! This is what Chardonnay should be. — 11 years ago
Remarkable!! — 12 years ago
Boom. Getting sleepy drink em if ya got em — 13 years ago
One of the greatest - Kept in the same cellar and optimal conditions along the years - decanted, at first sight a bit sleepy, then started to reveal a slight gamey tone - then opened itself to uncover a delicious, juicy, classy pinot, fresh and complex 😉 — 13 years ago
Very nice makes Hazel sleepy — 9 years ago
Awesome color - deep rich flavor — 9 years ago
Dark red fruit nose. Super ripe black cherry, blackberry, then light spice, like white pepper, and a little bit of funk. Clean on the palette. Very drinkable. Had on jun 29 2016. — 10 years ago
Love me some Forrest Wines 'The Doctors' Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc this time year!
Instead of reaching for those sleepy time, high octane reds, why not something fresh & crunchy reminiscent of dewy green grass, freshly sliced cantaloupe & perfectly ripened kiwi? At only 9%, and $18, I'm in! #certifiablydelish — 10 years ago
Joe Davis makes one of the finest Cali pilots. — 11 years ago
Earthy savory - reminds me of old Mirassou Pinot, naturally. Great winemaking by Tom Stutz. — 11 years ago

Dark and brooding, semi transparent, still youthful.
Restrained bouquet at first but after 1 hour of thorough decanting, it decided to wake up. Cassis, toasted cedar wood, lovely tobacco and tea leaf undertone.
The palate gives away quite good amount of tannin remaining. Nice balance of acidity. More dark than red fruit. A lot of secondary characters start to come out. Finish strongly on the cedary/woodsy note.
For a second wine in a heralded vintage (i.e. usually not good), this is a success. Has staying power to keep going for 5 more years easily. If pop now, need a long decanting time. It's in that very sleepy phase. 90+ — 9 years ago
