Margaux. Love. Finesse. Words that pair well together to describe this brilliant Bordeaux - as I am likely biased to a good Margaux, this is just wow. Deep, mature red fruits and a well matured robust body make this a wonderful experience to be cherished with each sip. Finishes nicely and is just pure bliss, paring well with the awesome notes on the nose that bring you right to France with the first whiff, on a first class ticket to Bordeaux. Leave the bags unpacked and don't bother leaving for the airport - France has just arrived at your door, and she wants to share. You need this in your life for the holidays! — 7 years ago
Dark, dark fruits. Smooth and lovely from the first sip to the last. Thank you, Josh! — 8 years ago
Buttery finish that is great to sip and savor 🍷 — 8 years ago
2013. Inky color. First sip bright fleshy black fruit. Nice structure needs time. Nice cab nose and finish — 8 years ago

So happy to find this incredible bottle in ship-shape condition. Bravo to Jarred Roth at Riverpark for continuing to offer great old wines at great prices. Loved every sip and wished there was more in the bottle. Raisin toast, black cherry, carob, violet candy, hazelnut. In great shape, drinking tonight for sure. Traditional wine rules. — 9 years ago
Roses pour out of the glass into my nose. It's Valentine's Day everyday with this wine. Taste is so complex every sip its a little something else it gives. A real masterpiece.... Ahhhh the salt is perfection. — 9 years ago
Wow! This gets bolder with each sip and has an interesting but slight vanilla scent. The earthy fruit compliments a center cut filet just right. — 9 years ago
Nice red, not too dry, easy to sip!
2011 good year; 2012 Bad!! — 11 years ago
Strong aromas of grapefruit and greens. First sip is exploding with grapefruit and citrus. Very flavorful and bright yet dry and tart. I would repurchase as a stand a lone wine to sip without food pairing. Perfect for watching a romantic comedy and snuggling. — 7 years ago
Tasted blind. Tawny but still with a dark ruby core. Nose has diverse notes of dried cherries, brush, some soil and a little eucalyptus. Rich and has perfect balance in the mouth. With the last sip this wine had 9+ hours of air and it was still perfectly balanced. This started great and stayed on a plateau of greatness all night. — 7 years ago
Hello my friends. Tonight we are drinking Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012. I suggest a 30 minute decant with this big boy. The cork was perfect. The bouquet is vanilla and pipe tobacco. The color is not the darkest cab Ive ever seen but darker than most. The initial palate is full of big dark black fruit. There is of coarse blackberry and dark currant. The finish is slightly disappointing with a light , not at all bold start finishing with a slightly sharp ending a good four seconds after the sip as usually seen with a very young wine. Then bam! Here comes the buttery explosion in mouth. It is not dry at all. The sharp finish is improved greatly with decanting and aerating. Ill buy it again when I want a wine I can sip on for three fourths of the bottle with no consequences! Im not sure about the alcohol percentage, but Im guessing about 12.5 maybe 13%. — 8 years ago
At a good spot- blueberries a bit of "porcini dust." Nice acid structure- tannins at the finish but not disjointed. Better as the night progressed. Sad to see the last sip in my glass — 8 years ago
The best scent of any wine!! You can smell the barrel and hints of nuts and berries.. makes u with to take a long sip. The body is very light. Not what you would expect from a cab. But nice. Fruity dry then a hint of coffee at the end. — 8 years ago

Crisp, refreshing. #Green Apple/tropical notes. Great wine:) — 9 years ago
This gets a 11+ rating if it was possible. The gods would be so lucky to have a sip of this. Incredible wine for Christmas. Such a light color for the age. So round and perfect. Finish that never ends. Doesn't get better. — 9 years ago
My favorite wine! The best! #1 This wine has so many layers upon layers of goodness to unravel. It's everything you ever wanted and more especially if you are like me who started out thinking bigger is better. My first and early Cab > Zinfandel> Barolo>big Spanish exploration, which I only appreciated years after diving into Pinot Noir, helps me truly enjoy this wine. A big punch in the face of amazing rich aromas and layers of flavors that seem to keep changing with every sip (savor every drop) of this wine. But the key is the balance! This wine is made so well and is such a complete package. After drinking it the first time I remember saying to myself "this is why I drink wine". It was like I found the one I had been waiting for. I am now satisfied and complete. Keep all the #boregundy you want, give me La Chapelle! — 10 years ago
Megan's wine of the night.
Absolutely superb. Definitely old world versus New World. Layers upon layers of deep and rich spice, prune and perhaps some type of herb that I could not place my finger on. you felt a kicking in on the back palate. It had so much going on that you relished every sip. This has another 20 years in front of it easily. It was just a baby tonight. No Decant!!!! Just popped and poured and it was sublime!. Thank goodness I have one left!!!!! Megan is developing an incredible Palate! She knew exactly what she did and did not like this evening. This immediately struck a chord and placed first. In all honesty, we are splitting hairs when it comes to the wines that we poured this evening. This was in my top three as well. Bravo Megan!!! This 100 point beauty definitely lived up to its hype. — 7 years ago
Incredibly sensual. 1 sip and my smoking hot wife lost her panties and we made love like wild beasts on the African plains. — 8 years ago
Light straw in color with a light golden tint.
Beautiful nose of tropical fruits, white flowers, limes, lemon zest, mangoes, guava, peaches, apples, passion fruit, pears, melons and white pepper.
Medium-bodied and crisp with high acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with green apples, grapefruits, limes lemons and spices.
Long finish with nice acidity, bitter almonds and pepper.
What a nice Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. Refreshing and crisp for this wonderful Florida weather. Nice enough to sip on by itself. I paired it with grilled salmon.
13% alcohol by volume. — 8 years ago
29 years old and drank incredibly well. What a treat. The big fruits have softened but in their place is now a brooding torrent of notes which evolved from sip to sip. Quite a remarkable wine. — 8 years ago
Don't pop bottles #nowadays...just sip grapes and pop corks...this wine no lie is probably one of my sleeper wines...its a #musttotry... — 9 years ago
Light and refreshing. Easy to sip. More floral than fruit. — 10 years ago

Our first Morgon and oh, so good! The first bottle didn’t make it past the appetizer, so we had another. Explosive aromas of dark berry, violets and a little orange peel coax you to sip, again and again. A long supple finish, tinged with spice and a lovely sweetness. Delicious. Last night in Paris. South tomorrow! — 6 years ago
