Love this singular white from Isabel Ferrando. Bottled only in magnum! 💯 Clairettes! — 11 years ago
Strong full bodied. That's my style of wine. — 9 years ago
Burgundy-like bubblegum notes on the nose. Light and zippy, reminding first and foremost of slightly carbonated cranberry juice, but with the acidic complexity of a great lambic, tinged with hay, ginger, forest floor, light warm spice and wild raspberries. Extraordinarily floral, offering up a strong bouquet of cut tulips, violets, and lilies. Delicious and eye-openingly singular. — 9 years ago
Idiosyncratic, singular, distinctive, you get the picture. The color is light but it does not lead you to its age. The nose pulls you in many directions, what is that smell I ask myself. One thing it is not and that is alcohol , which registers in at 10.5%. In the mouth very tart red fruit that jabs the inside of your mouth as if it contained pins. Very nice medium finish. A polarizing wine. — 9 years ago
An amazing wine! So much intensity, complexity, weight and purity even at 26 years old. A truly singular, beautiful expression of the aging potential of Chenin blanc. #cheninblanc #loirevalley #savennieres — 10 years ago

To finish the night. Normally I find these a bit more approachable and would score higher, a bit singular which surprised me based on the age. — 9 years ago
