I believe these are lower in alcohol and I dig the effort at restraint, but there was some dormancy in this bottle. Muted fruit, grainy tight tannin. Herbs and earth predominate now. I think this will improve and blossom but it’s a little one note at this point. — 8 years ago
2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We drank this after, but in comp to the 2013 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay and this surprised us as the winner, especially since K and I love the Peter Michael Chardonnay so much. J really preferred this wine so much he was thinking abt stocking some of this wine himself. This wine was creamy and had much more tropical fruit, plus oak. Delicious and we really, really enjoyed this wine! — 9 years ago

Smells like the forest, tastes like cedar chips. — 10 years ago
Extremely smooth cab......great for those that love reds and for those that are on the fence. Here's to bringing friends to the other side! Great price point too! — 10 years ago
70% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards that are 700 metres above sea level in Kaimansgaat, Walker Bay, with 30% Semillon from 50-year-old vineyards. Deliciously complex. — 11 years ago
My go to bottle for this season. A great local wine at an even better price point. — 11 years ago
We love Silver Mts wines. Yet another Bay Area. Best kept secret. No need to go to Napa, the Santa Cruz Mts wineries are amazing! An added bonus about Silver Mt is their sustainability practices. — 12 years ago
Deepburgendy color. Musty with citrus notes on the nose, followed by dark fruit on the mid taste and chocolate on the finish. Solid for the price point. — 7 years ago
Tried the '90 recently, spoke of how amazing a producer of Californian Cabernet it is, but just needed a little more time, this '85 is well & truly on point, everything is in balance, there's fruit intensity yes, but the development/complexity/layers are really shining through, outstanding stuff. — 8 years ago

Nice smoky and well balanced. Could have a tad more depth but an excellent value. Would recommend at this price point — 10 years ago
Wow! Zesty, got straight up dryed lemongrass with lemon juice, pith and a hard under ripe apricot and pith, and wild white flowers, that's pours acid all over your tongue that cascades with waves of minerality, the weight, the texture, the acid, so on point.
Sure to be a benchmark. — 10 years ago
Satisfactory, but at this price point should be stunning. — 11 years ago
Suprizingly good. Highly fruity and complex for bathe region . Overwhelming small of red licorice when first opened then mellowed as the night went on. Pleasurable wine will by again . — 12 years ago
Nice evolution at this point. Lots of dark cherries, cherries, strawberries, blackberries, good spice, dry crushed rocks, gritty volcanic minerals, chewy leather, tobacco, graphite, dry and fresh florals. Good acidity, just a touch hot, the length, tension, structure and balance is pretty good. Finishes ripe, fresh to slightly dry tannins. — 7 years ago
Big, dark-fruited with some high tones of red and some white pepper, anise and meat to the point I thought it was cold climate Syrah at first. Over a day it warmed up, gave up some more candied notes. Layered, interesting, still quite firmly backboned. Give this some serious time. BTW no "smoke taint" to speak of — 8 years ago
Underrated gem — 9 years ago

This again is clearly not a wine it is however one of the best premier Russian Vodkas around by the way this product is from
St. Petersburg Russia
This Product is rightfully entitled
Russian Standard as it is derived from only the finest products found in Russia those being their Winter Harvest Wheat, from the Russian Steppes, The Glacial Waters of Lake Ladoga are used and Advanced Distillation Technology is used in the making of this product.
This is all done to ensure only the highest standards when making this Vodka the version I have posted here is the platinum version which by no means was cheap
However, it was still relatively reasonably priced.
On the bottle it is listed as being silver filtered I just take this to mean that it has been filtered numerous times to the point of a very high quality which would more than adequately explain its smoothness as there are to my knowledge at least two other versions of this Vodka there is a Regular Version, a Gold version and the Platinum Version I have listed here.
This Vodka is of Remarkable taste and amazing clarity. In all other ways that truly matter when crafting a great vodka this is one of the ones that is truly uncompromising which is what
has allowed this product to reach
its peak degree of greatness. — 11 years ago
