Signorello

Signorello

Estate Grown Napa Valley Merlot 2011

Hard to evaluate while eating spicy homemade tacos. The nose was sweet and fresh. Initially the tannins were forward but well balanced by blackberry and vanilla. It's a very full, rich, and interesting wine. The finish is not long and the tannins dominate. It went really well with spicy tacos and really amplified the flavors of the food. Doesn't need to decant long. Christmas Eve dinner. — 9 years ago
