Dry, earthy, tart plum, raspberry, slight herbal & longer finish than expected, med + acid
Aged 15 months in neutral FR oak — 9 years ago
Lovely zippy minerality, apricots, lychee, kiwi skin, Young and easily drinkable right now. Lapping riverstone for a long time after the gulp. Paired with VA "Cannon Cove" oysters. — 10 years ago
Light, not too sweet, good for summer — 10 years ago
Had this in cannon beach, or.. Pleasantly surprised by how light and lovely this was. Easy finish and great fruit balance — 11 years ago
Crisp apple notes. Tangy with a bit of acidity. Pairs well with spicy foods. Will buy again. — 11 years ago
Orphaned by Cannon a couple of weeks ago - a good pairing for an impromptu cioppino dinner. — 11 years ago

Must aerate for 30 minutes — 13 years ago
Excellent- light enough to be paired with any food, chicken, pork, turkey. But unique- loved it. $29.99 at Wine County in Signal Hill, CA. — 9 years ago
Yeasty with slight oxidation, yet clean and citrusy with a nice creamy body presence. — 9 years ago
This is simply remarkable. If you didn't know it, the nose would automatically signal Napa cab. This is a stunning cab franc that is blowing my mind right now. The nose is deep, black plum and blackberry sitting in an old leather workboot. The palate is full bodied, yet easy at the same time. The beginning and mid palate are both fairly thin and smooth, but it finishes with blackberry goodness. This is just brilliant. — 10 years ago
Nice Pinot. Needs time to open up — 11 years ago
This is my new go-to. Full of flavor, robust, and just the right amount of hops. Plus brewed in MD. What more do you need?? — 11 years ago
Very tastey. Really like this winery.
2015 vintage. — 11 years ago
Bright berry fruit with just enough American oak vanillin to provide richness. Dips into something wild and herbaceous without being unwelcoming. A cannon of a wine, I'm gonna have a hangover tomorrow bruh. Also splendid garnet color and loads of acidity. — 11 years ago
Exactly what it says "Incredible"! Peachy Cannon has some of the best wines I have every tasted. We became a wine club member just for that reason. You will not be disappointed!! — 13 years ago
2010. One of the best labels. Angels shooting a cannon of Riesling. — 13 years ago
Like this wine (2016), slightly sharp edge-27/07/17 — 9 years ago
Amtrak's finest. We found the '16 to pair particularly well with a 90 minute delay due to signal problems. The '15 is really better for an outright cancellation. Kidding aside, this is solid value. — 9 years ago
Bold, fresh. A Chardonnay cannon. — 9 years ago
Super like this wine think it's the last one bummer — 10 years ago
Drank this at Old Vinings Inn with Kelly Cannon, Beth Murphy and Amanda Morton before the ballet. Very crisp and smooth. Tastes like a Sauv Blanc should. — 10 years ago
Kicking off our first night in Cannon Beach, OR — 11 years ago

A little sweetness in this smooth drinking red blend. Very good wines that I only rarely get when driving by Dahlgren as this winery only sells on their estate. — 11 years ago
Cannon River Winery's Sparkle Edelweiss was a big hit on Christmas Eve. Paired well with fresh shrimp fondue. This is a carbonated wine made from Minnesota Edelweiss grapes. Had a fruity snappiness to it. Great winery to visit in Cannon Falls MN! — 11 years ago
This is the actual signal for Spring. — 12 years ago
The best dessert wine ever tasted! Wish bigger bottle! The wine shack cannon beach. — 13 years ago

Dig these Koehler-Ruprecht trocken prädikatswein bottlings; they smell like they’re going to be sweet but then surprise the palate with their relative dryness. This Kallstadter kabinett trocken pours a medium (-) intensity straw-gold hue. Moderate concentration of aromatics of underripe stone fruit, shiso, wet stone minerality, a bit of petrol-y TDN character, a leesy aged cheese rind character, and a very slight honeyed spice that might signal a very small percentage of botrytized grapes might have gone into this wine (but I’m not 100% sure it is botrytis; it’s very faint if it is). On the palate, the wine is simultaneously soft and focused, with more slightly underripe stone fruit, wet stone minerality, slightly underripe mango, a savory, aged cheese rind leesiness, and some very subtle floral tones. Medium (+)/high acid, oily, softly textured light/medium (-) body, medium in-balance alcohol, and it’s dry-ish? Wouldn’t quite say off dry but definitely has a slight bit of balancing RS. Overall, pretty good stuff; haven’t yet been disappointed by Koehler-Ruprecht. — 9 years ago
