Drank with Oscar and Lindsay when they came to visit. Rainy weekend. Grilled meat and fish, went to Art a whirl. — 7 years ago
Juicy and interesting, deep blood orange citrusy taste but overwhelmingly candy-apple or candy-watermelon. Someone i was having a glass with compared to a jolly rancher — 8 years ago

Young but what a delicious mouthful, with rich layers of fruit but elegant and smooth — 11 years ago
Thoroughly enjoyed this lighter style blend. Bright fruit and acid, juicy red fruits. — 11 years ago
Cali Zin with refinement. Very nice. Need to get more of this. — 12 years ago
Ethereal. — 13 years ago
Fairly fruity on the nose. Hint of black pepper and something earthy/mineral. Flavor is very dry. Dried strawberries and red vines. Classic jammy Zin thing. Some pomegranate molasses perhaps. Fresh and zinfulliciuos. Plenty of tannin to give it more bite than Zin usually achieves. Complex. True. Enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Great richness in balance. $15 I — 9 years ago

Classic J chard. Nice edge but still pretty light. Good for boneless pork chops. — 10 years ago
Drinks like a white. Tart and interesting. — 11 years ago
Elegant, a bit animale, touch of tapenade and rich, red meat. Closest Cali gets to Cote Rotie — 11 years ago
Love love love! Perfect balance! — 11 years ago
Terrific acid, bright red fruit, the perfect follow in to an epic Bordeaux tasting last night. — 12 years ago

Rioja meets California. Too young though, needs another 5 years. — 7 years ago

Smell like a worn leather jacket. Funky, earthy, black cherry, tobacco, super fine tannin. Excellent and dispels any association with classic Cali cab. Some licorice and morels. — 9 years ago
Im a Lopez/Rio Alta (w dips into CVNE) guy, so this was unexplored territory into mid/high end Rioja. All seamless, plush mouthfeel, rich rich rich black cherries, w enough acidic undertow to keep it fresh & reaching for next glass. Had after food so would love to taste with-bet its transformed. My home base is still Rio Alta & LopeZ though — 10 years ago
Delicious. Highly recommend. — 11 years ago

Love this unfiltered red blend, gallivanter, nice acidic start and berry finish, light to medium bodied, really tasty and easy drinking, — 6 years ago
