Iβm digging this #sardinia #carignano rosato. Strawberry and raspberry aromas, copper-garnet color in the glass, just-right acidity, thicker tannins and a delicious chewy finish - a distinctly different RosΓ©. β 6 years ago

Now that's the local nectar!!!! Eating pork Milanese in Milan with a bottle of the owners wine from Sardegna. Mom is feeling those earthy notes of fresh grass and olive trees but I'll be honest after a bottle all I smell is GRAPE! (It's a good thing) β 10 years ago

Great red in Sardinia β 8 years ago
Nose is a bit fruity, maybe some raison undertones. The raison aroma really comes through after some aeration. Nice flavor, ripe red fruit. Very tasty. It does need some breathing time. β 9 years ago
Wow. Love this Sardinian. The front is big and salty. My favorite with big flavored food. I have not decided on the end yet. This went down with an awesome grilled pork loin seasoned in prunes and Dijon mustard. Side was a very flavorful split pea and onion mash. β 10 years ago
From the federal wine Xmas crate. Drank after a long day with chicken Caesar and it totally hit the spot. I taste the apple/pear at the margin. β 5 years ago
Good. Alcohol not well integrated today and tannins a bit tough. Very aromatic. No shortage of fruit. Age will improve β 7 years ago
2016 Sweet and good. Nummy β 8 years ago
Dark golden amber. Pungent grapefruit jelly, orange peel, caramel and honey notes on the captivating nose. Rich and creamy on entry, then lighter and lively thanks to an underpinning of fresh minerality. Caramel and sweet notes last and last. Made with 100% Nasco, this is a famous, multiple-award-winning wine, the charms of which have almost always escaped me; not so in this vintage. One of the very best versions of Latinias ever.
