Wow! What a smooth wine! — 10 years ago
Wow! Another great wine. Most Petit Shirah are mild, this is a full body. 85% Petit Shirah, 15% Petit Verdot. 2010 Lodi Appellation. A must try. #michael&davidphillips great job! #jodam01wines #happyfriday — 12 years ago
This is an amazing wine and it is one of my favorite ones to bring to dinners. It is robust tannic fairly big and opens very quickly. As a cousin to the zinfandel it shows as it is extremely drinkable despite it's large tannic quality. Elements of black fruit and pepper remind me of both the zinfandel and the Shiraz. Anyone familiar Shirah from the Rhone Valley should definitely give this one a try. The only thing I will say is that I enjoy it with friends and less you can finish the bottle by yourself. It dies fairly quickly. — 9 years ago
Recommended by a friend at a NYE party. This vintage specifically. Just tried it...holy moly! Love this! 110 year old Zin mixed with Shirah. Dark berry flavor with a velvety finish. Must have again! — 11 years ago
A fantastic Syrah - smokey, roasted coffee, meaty, and dark chocolatey. Smooth. — 9 years ago
