Probably the BEST CF I have ever had! Screams of French finesse and fruit. Had the sophistication of a blend with the pristine persona of a single varietal. It has a long ethereally sweet finish interwoven into structured tannins and ample acidity. This was like an M5 ready for any road. Just bought two more for the cellar :) — 8 years ago

2011 vintage goes well with lamb/salad. Mild pepper- mild enjoyable spice, hint of cherry cola for Igor and blackberries for me. More silky/leather than you'd expect from a Barbera. Overall - very nice, aromatic and pleasant. — 10 years ago
Old vines 140 year old on some of the blend . Red / dark fruits with good balance . Very good — 10 years ago

Everything I love in Amador Zin. Fruit is beyond the standard berry jam of some. Tastes of Marion berries and Bing cherry. Chewy and zingy too. Nice stuff. — 9 years ago

Bright red sour cherry, rose petals, spice. M+ acid, m+ tannin. Long finish. Floral and aromatic. I can't believe this is from California and not Italy. — 10 years ago
